Maybe Toomey should run 3rd party. Tell Cornyn, Steele, et al, get bent, I wasn’t good enough when Arlen the RINO was in the party, but now I am good enough? I’m not sure they’ll help him anyway, but I guess if he’s runs 3rd party, the country club GOP will put up someone like Ridge. Maybe not, Ridge wouldn’t run against Toomey AND Specter.

Toomey and Steele won’t get a shot at Specter. Specter may claim to be a democrat, and may vote for socialism in the next 18 months, but that’s not enough to save him. He’s a traitor and no one likes traitors. The dems will knife him in the back in their own primary. And I won’t shed a tear.

Yup no one likes a traitor not even those who sponsor him, the Democrats in this case. We shall see. Hopefully after 18 months this nasty piece of work will be in private life. The ego on this effer...he should have made way for a younger man years ago. Or at lesat someone who isn’t senile

“Although he would have lost the GOP primary to Toomey Specter will probably beat Toomey by 20+ points in the general election. Remember, the last GOP conservative senator in PA got creamed in 2006.”

Maybe. Specter will definitely be a 2-1 favorite, however, 2010 should be a down year for the Democrats. First mid-term after having power for 2 years, people will be looking to reign them in a little bit. With any luck, it’ll be like 1994, but only if the candidates running act like conservatives. At the moment, I would say Specter wins, but not by 20 points. Maybe 5-10.

Black RINO v. white ex-RINO? Go, Steele - last thing even the dems need is another senile old denator.

” Barry will campaign fro Arly full bore.”

Does he need to? Doesn’t Philadelphia turn out something like 108% of all adult voters?

We need a republican ACORN organization where busloads of conservatives, about one million or so, pour in from surrounding states to register and vote.

Screw the law. We’re at war. Toss every democrat absentee balllot into the shredder. Refuse to count democrat votes in every rural county. Wait for the big cities to report the vote tally, then adjust the exurb numbers to swamp the rat votes.

And what if Sestak or someone else decides to challenge Specter in the Democratic primary?

Count on it. These 'rat bastards have not been patiently sharpening their swords these last five years just to see a turncoat waltz in and take away the nomination they have been nurturing.

I doubt Spectre will be a candidate in the general in 2010.

Why would Spectre make the switch without an assurance from the DNC that he wouldn’t face any Democratic opposition the primary?

Who says he did? No doubt you have heard the fundamental truth: "Talk is cheap."
