Time to call out the Big Guns.
Some of you have heard thru FReepmail that a week and a half ago a mass was found during a routine chest X-Ray. 2 days later they did a CT Scan. Yesterday I had a Biopsy done. I just got off the phone with my Doctor.
I have cancer.
Specifically, Adenocarcinoma. More tests need to be done to determine the stage and if it is just the one tumor or if it has spread.
Please include me in your Prayers that this can be treated.The most powerful weapon I can employ in this fight is Prayer.

So sorry you’ve gone through such a horrible time, and so glad the new stuff is more tolerable and seems to be doing some good. Prayers continuing until you tell us otherwise, and thank you very much for the update!

Praying for you for continued healing
Putting this in perspective.
Yesterday I had my monthly appointment with my Oncologist. We were both very happy with how I am doing. He said “Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer survival rate averages 6 to 9 months.”
I have been fighting this for a year and a half and the tumors I have are shrinking. Doc said I look stronger than he has ever seen me, going back to initial consultation.
I give credit where credit is due.
1- God. Both by His direct intervention and indirect intervention.
2- Prayers from FReepers and others.
3- The marvelous work by the Cancer Dr., and the most excellent Nursing Staff at the Cadence Cancer Center. God set this team in my path (indirect intervention) as tools of His Blessings in my life.
Sometimes we need to spend a bit of time in reflection, looking back at the path we have traveled, to see how it has helped us grow.
