Why is Pat Buchanan's website playing host to Holocaust deniers?

Not until midwinter 1942 was the Wannsee Conference held, where the Final Solution was on the table.

That conference was not convened until Hitler had been halted in Russia, was at war with America and sensed doom was inevitable. Then the trains began to roll.

He's full of crap. The final solution was determined long before its formal presentation to the conference. They had already done a ton of prep work in the form of isolation and organization.

For example, interesting how the first concentration camp opened all the way back in 1939, according to this holocaust timeline, which also states that as early as Sept 21, 1939, "[SS General Reinhard] Heydrich issues instructions to SS Einsatzgruppen (special action squads) in Poland regarding treatment of Jews, stating they are to be gathered into ghettos near railroads for the future "final goal." He also orders a census and the establishment of Jewish administrative councils within the ghettos to implement Nazi policies and decrees."

Krakow's site was chosen in 1940, and by then ethnic cleansing had occurred in various places, resulting in the expulsion and/or confinement of entire Jewish populations in a whole bunch of ghettos in Poland, Czechoslovakia, etc. Auschwitz expansion, with the expressed purpose of servicing the already established "final solution," began in 1941, and several more concentration camps were already operational.

It's revolting he actually has a voice in the Republican party. Every time he's on Sean Hannity I cringe. He's no friend of Israel, either, surprise surprise.

I don’t know if he’s a Holocaust denier, but he clearly holds some of their views. More direct than your example is his contension in a 1990 column that Jews can’t be killed by diesel fumes, thus Jews weren’t gassed at Treblinka. Classic denial stuff, already debunked when he wrote it, but several deniers lauded his effort to bring denial into the mainstream. He never followed up, though, never explained where the absurd idea came from. Ironically diesel fumes were initially used on political prisoners, some Jews, most not. I presume they didn’t die either, leaving only the question of where all these people go? Answered best by Hutton Gibson, New York, LA, Miami and Sydney, just look around you.

And I agree, Republicans and conservatives, other than the “true conservative” variety, should avoid him. He’s a vote loser. I doubt many New Yorkers reading this article about the former Republican Presidential candidate, their description, warmed to the right. Best you can hope for is neutral.

How about considering that what’s being done to Pat Buchanan, is more or less what’s being done to Carrie Prejean. Is what’s being done to Governor Palin.

Is what was done to Newt Gingrich.

Is what was done to George W. Bush.

Demonize. Divide. Destroy. Any conservative.

Simply because they’re conservative. For some it’s the homosexuals who attack. Others, the moralists (Newt).

For Pat, it’s those who seek to blame him for the evils of others. Others who were so completely defeated and routed - they no longer even constitute a valid danger in this world.

I mean seriesly. When’s the last time anyone actually even saw an actual nazi?

They’re isolated, tattoo-spattered freaks. I think I saw one up near Barstow. In a 7-11. I think he was the only one in California. Nazis are defeated. History.

Get a grip. There are no Nazis anymore. They’re dead. They don’t matter. They’re gone.

The fascists today - are on the left. Spouting and goose-stepping to words like “multicultural tolerance” while sneering and wishing Rush Limbaugh suffer kidney failure.

Liberals are now the fascists. And it is ironically, liberals who a majority of American Jews vote for. And donate to. And support.

Had Buchanan not written a revisionist book calling Hitler's aims reasonable, the attack would have no relevance. Had Buchanan not gone into Holocaust revisionism with disproven claims on the efficacy of diesel, the attack would be futile. Had Buchanan not decided that th eonly illegal entry he likes is that of an SS Death Camp volunteer, there would be no merit. Had Buchanan's magazine not made a decision to invite leftists to attack Israel and to refuse to run additional pieces by Robert Locke because of his support for Israel as a nation-state, I would laugh it off.

If something looks like a duck, smells like a duck, quacks like a duck, and swims like a duck, its fowl. Or to use the proper term, "Res Ipsa Loquitur". And you are the one using the leftist tactic of subsuming truth for its political value.

Now a sincere challenge for you, if you happen to actually speak it: What’s Latin for “crying wolf”?...

Because there are no Nazis anymore. Seriesly. World War II was three generations ago! Germany was since partitioned. A wall built across the entire nation. Half was subjected to Soviet occupation and “shoot on sight” imprisonment in their own country.

The Stasi. Then President Reagan and that wonderful challenge to Mikhael Gorbachev - to tear down that wall.

The Deutsch Mark, is no more.

Germany is now, a state in the country Europe. I mean, come on now.

It’s 2009. Nazis are a historical footnote. The world is about to turn into a monolith of brainless communism.

Nazis are the least of our problems! And screaming about finding Nazis under Pat Buchanan’s bed, really accomplishes nothing except innure people who don’t know history - from really taking REAL nazis seriously.

Pat Buchanan is not a nazi. Don’t compare nazis to Pat Buchanan. Because people today won’t understand the context - they’ll just look at whether “A” equals “B”.

“A” does not equal “B”. I really do understand where you’re coming from, but it’s not a valid criticism - and as time passes it becomes nothing but diluting the historical horror that actual nazis were.

If you try to pretend Pat’s a nazi, the only thing you’re doing is making people think that nazis, are like Pat Buchanan.

Are you at all familiar with S. Jackson? He is not a liberal at all. Actually, liberals link to Buchanan more and more lately, they often share his prejudicial view on Jews and Israel. My experience with FR was that the mods did not tolerate holocaust denial. I hope that has not changed. You can go to Stormfront for that though, if that is what you are looking for?
