Likewise.
Don’t cry “wolf!”.
Knowledge is power Rudeboy. Knowing what’s out there is a good thing sometimes. Let the deniers post their drivel lest we become complacent.
...because Paddy is a nut.
So many people forget that Stalin murdered many more than the Germans. Meanwhile, Mao was responsible for millions of deaths as well. All those ungodly systems murder and kill and steal and rape. All of them. These systems emanate from the pit of Hell so what do people think will happen? Apparently, people are really lame - they sure don’t study their history.
So you are comparing acts of war with the holocaust?
If anything, it would prevent people from defending comments such as, "it is logistically impossible to gas six million Jews" on the basis of "a lot of Jews belong to the ACLU" (or have freckles--how about that nonsense).
What is really funny is that not one Soviet has ever been hunted by an ‘international body’ and tried for their crimes against their own population...despite their far higher bodycount than the Nazis. But then, Nazis never controlled our press like the commies/commie sympathizers do so what can you expect...
People are horribly ignorant. The majority know little about history other than what they’ve seen on TV/movies. Woefully ignorant. Uncle Joe was a nice freedom fighter.
It’s like driving around trying to find a particular place in your car, but you don’t know where you’ve already been...and in fact, you get furiously angry if anyone tries to tell you that you’ve already been down this street...and that is just fine with you.
I’ve never mentioned the Holocaust, and haven’t even inferred it. But I like how you attempt to use it as a bludgeon to shut down what I’m saying, even though it is totally unrelated. One day that club is going to slip.
Way to be hysterical, though. Scream louder for that admin.
Well there is something truly diabolical about wanting to wipe out a “people” so that no Jews ever exist. Stalin was a little more equitable with his murder of everyone who didn’t go with the flow.
A friend of mine’s grandfather was murdered - hauled off from the apartment and never seen again. Years later they found that he was interrogated and shot two days after he was taken. He was a professor and they didn’t like what he was saying.
Another friend of mine, from the Ukraine, told me that her grandfather had hidden some farm equipment which he was supposed to turn over and when they found out, they sent him to one of the labor camps. He came out years later and he was, according to her, “like a baby, crying at any little thing or jumping at loud noises...” It’s pitiful. I wish more Americans would talk to our immigrants who have lived out these horrors. They should have them come into the classrooms.
“If anything, it would prevent people from defending comments such as, “it is logistically impossible to gas six million Jews” on the basis of “a lot of Jews belong to the ACLU” (or have freckles—how about that nonsense).”
That sure is a big brush you’re attempting to smear me with.
You brought up Black people. I responded on that topic, with allegory. Now I’m a Holocaust denier, even though I never mentioned it?
You people need to get a grip. Your guilt cannon is going to run out of ammo if you keep firing it indiscriminately.
The obvious explanation is the simplest one: Pat Buchanan is an anti-semite, as we have seen for years now.
Any post in a thread titled 'Why is Pat Buchanan's website playing host to Holocaust deniers?' is by definition connected to the Holocaust. You guys are clever with your little comments, denying what is a fact on its face.
Get off it, Troy. You didn’t arrive on this thread to defend those comments on First Amendment grounds. You started blathering some nonsense about when it becomes acceptable to “hate” (your term) an entire group based-upon the actions of a subset.
I tend to agree. As reprehensible as some ideas are it smacks of a totalitarian impulse to silence them. On this very thread there are already people pinging the mods because of the mere implication of holocaust denial, be it real or imagined. Are we really that fragile?
So if there is a thread entitled...
“Homosexuality...ain’t it grand”
If I post anything, even if I say “I have a silver car...I’m supporting homosexuality?
That is some incredible logic. I have not said one word about Jews. Judaism. The Holocaust. I responded to someone who mentioned Blacks, and that is it. Scream away, I find your hysteria amusing for it’s total lack of reason. Get a pitchfork for all I care...my words are public record and easily understood. Nowhere have I indicated any type of revisionist thinking or support for them. You guys are really overplaying your hand.
Red Herring.
You were responding to another poster, sorry but I hope you don’t mind if I respond.
I’ll explain from my standpoint why I arrived on this thread. I’m an almost single-issue conservative. America first.
I believe we are giving away our nation, in the name of “free trade”. I believe that unless the damage is reversed - and soon, we will eventually be literally destroyed by nations which are using our foolish policies - to become as strong as we once were.
While we are weakened, in the same process.
Then they will wipe us out. America no more.
Freedom on earth, will end.
I see Pat Buchanan is one of the few people out there, who dares say that.
Then I see him being attacked - by the very same group who viciously attacked Governor Palin from the word go, and who overwhelmingly voted for Hussein Obama.
I start to wonder, whether they have America’s best interests at heart.
Do they??
There are two things we need to remember always:
1. It is always good to remember that these people continue to exist. Many are unaware that even some leaders hold these positions (e.g. Ahmadinajad).
2. It is good to know where and who they are so we never let them do it again.
I would.
