I think she is being set by the Bambster and Rahm for a coup. Obama wants to control all the branches of government which means having his people in power in both Houses. Nancy is expendable and is not an Obaminsta she will be replaced at the top.
Poor Nan went into melt-down mode during the press conference. Her aid could not wait to get her away from the microphone.

Based on her press conference today I think she is anything but an artist. She is a complete idiot but will get by because the MSM won’t ask her any hard questions.

I think you're absolutely right. This is all a set-up; she doesn't have to worry about the GOP or even about the CIA. She has to worry about the White House, and she should remember that Bambi is ruthless and plays for keeps.
I watched it after the fact and when she blamed Geo. Bush I just laughed and laughed. That is so played.
She was shaking, smiling at the wrong times, waving her hands, fumbling with paper, could not remember her earlier statements, or where she put them. I thought she was really flustered and completely off her game. She looked worse than a deer in the headlights....

Her best move would be to say thoughtfully that she’s prayed to God and given this all great thought and has come to the realization that waterboarding was indeed a good thing under these circumstances, given that we’re dealing with suicidal maniac mass murderers who endanger hundreds of millions of people. Now that would ring true to most of the American people and she’d become an instant hero for bringing the American people back to sanity. But, never mind, that won’t happen - her thought processes are frozen shut.
