Probably, to interview them and see if they have been “harassed” or treated poorly. So Obama can give them citizenship and file civil rights lawsuits against law enforcement

Yeah, you’re probably right. And all the “undocumented criminals” they find will be re-classified as “refugees”.

Pretty transparent to me. Obama is going to try to get an amnesty later this year. He has to be able to point to efforts to increase security and crackdown on criminal aliens. More propaganda as the amnesty planning begins.

So they can quickly give them “get out of jail free” cards. Of course they’ll simply return to the streets and do more crimes.

I guess they need to weed out the convicts before shoving 20 million more Democratic voters down the GOP’s throat.

What a bargain, I think they could do this for about $793 million, prolly cost $700-800 per inmate. Then again, there are all those pencils they’d have to buy, but those could be bought in bulk.

Keep in mind, this is to *check* their immig status. Nobody is talking about actually *doing* anything about whatever it is they find.

For that, they’d need about $2.3 billion and maybe 60K new government employees to conduct extensive hearings.

Then, they would send each illegal home in a gas guzzling, doomed SUV. There’s $200-$300 in gas and en-route McDonald’s cheeseburgers.

I think this could be done for about $3 billion hard costs and an annual payroll increment of about $5.5 billion.

The article I read in the Austin (sanctuary) Texas paper said there was still an ICE deck at the Travis county jail.

The non-natives are a bit pissed.

I'd rather they serve their sentences in our jails than deport them and have them come right back.

Man, the propaganda is thick out there.

Yep.

My county Sheriff catches about five a week and hands ‘em right over to ICE.

Too bad he’s retiring next year......
