Geez, the Cheney’s are a one family tag team these days.

There’s Lynn jumping off the top rope now, headed for a body blow to Obama on the mat.

You mean one of their kids, right? Unless I'm mistaken, Liz is Cheney's offspring.

My question is....where is Bush’s response? Bush is being scary quiet and out of sight...is he hiding out, or is he up to some behind the scenes stuff?

Gotta hand it to the Cheneys for highlighting this vicious game by 0bama in demonizing the Bush administration while in many ways backing off and continuing a lot of what they did while playing his games. They should demand an apology because it is damning that they have no other plan and want to continue to trash the Bush administration who kept us safe and secure.

Yep. Obama's speech sounded more like a 'it's not my fault' campaign speech.

I think Bush is still practicing what he believes in. That is, do not criticize the current administration—unlike Bozos Carter and Clinton who were always slamming Bush. Shame on them. I’m glad Dick is no longer under Bush’s thumb—Bush may even think Dick should not be opening his mouth.

And she’s smart enough to have all the ammo at hand when arguing with libs. If you missed an earlier post of mine on her ‘debate’ with Eugene Robinson, check out:

An impressive display of her talents.

My guess is he's hiding. When America elected Zero, I'd think for President Bush, it was as if a woman he'd been dating for 8 years decided to switch sides and come out of the closet.

Unlike the new man at the top, Bush has class and is acting in the best traditions of former Presidents. He does not need to speak for himself, history will do that for him and I suspect it will do so far more kindly than the current chattering class presumes.

Nope.
Pres. Clinton broke with tradition by criticizing President Bush during his terms.
President Bush, whatever his flaws, has infinitely more class than the Clintons. I don’t think he is not going to say anything about a sitting President or his policies.

V.P. Cheney should be president, but that’s another story. It is remarkable what Cheney is doing. Finally, there is someone in the Conservative camp willing to defend their actions and challenge the racial left. We see the success of our conservative ideas have when Obama starts defending his decisions about Gitmo and terrorism publicly. The contrast between V.P. Cheney and Obama is stark. And, the public is beginning to understand that the Bush/Cheney strategy for dealing with Muslim terrorist was good for America. What is also curious for me is the length in which Obama, a professed christian, goes to defend Muslims. Yet, he is at odds with Christians in America.

” Bush has class and is acting in the best traditions of former Presidents”

Not only class, but smarts. When you speak with one voice there is only one interpretation. With two voices, there could be confusion. President Bush recognizes that Vice President Cheney has a better grasp on the security matter and defers to him.

Agreed. George & Laura Bush prefer to stay out of this mud fight. Not out of cowardice or Machiavellian schemes, but a simple respect for the Office. Not out of respect for The First Thug because he deserves none, but for the Office.

Mr. Bush is an adult; he's not a narcissistic child such as Bubba, Gore, Kerry, Obama, ad nauseaum.

That’s a good photo and I hadn’t seen it before. thanks newgeezer for posting.

My read on Cheney’s expression (based on what he’s been saying almost since Jan 20) is “You’re walking into some serious nightmares, hope you get good advisers.”

Cheney is still fighting the terrorists, and I mean that in a good way. Good for all of us.

I didn't watch it myself, but I'd bet it went somewhere along the lines of "Blah, blah, blah, Bush's fault". I've got better things to do with my time than watch that.

Cheney's speech was well worth the time commitment, though. He's a real patriot.
