Unlike the new man at the top, Bush has class and is acting in the best traditions of former Presidents. He does not need to speak for himself, history will do that for him and I suspect it will do so far more kindly than the current chattering class presumes.
No matter how many times I see that photo . . . I love it more the next.

Pres. Clinton broke with tradition by criticizing President Bush during his terms.
President Bush, whatever his flaws, has infinitely more class than the Clintons. I don’t think he is not going to say anything about a sitting President or his policies.
V.P. Cheney should be president, but that’s another story. It is remarkable what Cheney is doing. Finally, there is someone in the Conservative camp willing to defend their actions and challenge the racial left. We see the success of our conservative ideas have when Obama starts defending his decisions about Gitmo and terrorism publicly. The contrast between V.P. Cheney and Obama is stark. And, the public is beginning to understand that the Bush/Cheney strategy for dealing with Muslim terrorist was good for America. What is also curious for me is the length in which Obama, a professed christian, goes to defend Muslims. Yet, he is at odds with Christians in America.

Not only class, but smarts. When you speak with one voice there is only one interpretation. With two voices, there could be confusion. President Bush recognizes that Vice President Cheney has a better grasp on the security matter and defers to him.
Agreed. George & Laura Bush prefer to stay out of this mud fight. Not out of cowardice or Machiavellian schemes, but a simple respect for the Office. Not out of respect for The First Thug because he deserves none, but for the Office.
Mr. Bush is an adult; he's not a narcissistic child such as Bubba, Gore, Kerry, Obama, ad nauseaum.

My read on Cheney’s expression (based on what he’s been saying almost since Jan 20) is “You’re walking into some serious nightmares, hope you get good advisers.”
Cheney is still fighting the terrorists, and I mean that in a good way. Good for all of us.
