Kansas Abortionist George Tiller was shot today as he was going to Church.

What a very hateful thing to remark ... so out of character for the usual Mormon posters at FR.
Actually, I'm not so sure. This late term abortion of Mr. Tiller may bring some attention to the kinds of crimes against humanity that were being done by him and others in the name of the Constitution and may actually cause some other would be mass murderers to choose to use their medical skills to save lives instead of taking them.
My cat killed a little mouse last night. I felt really bad about that. I could only wish that I had a heart that could feel bad for Mr. Tiller. In this case, I feel sorrier for the cat.
I just hope he is not strongly aligned with any pro-life group... It may cause trouble for pro-lifers, and there might be possibly violence against pro-lifers at abortion clinics because of this...
I also understand that we must play politics with this issue.
The public is not ready for that logical extension, and most of us are smart enough not to fall into that trap.
Amen! And, to those who are concerned about the family... I say, think of all the brothers and sisters of 60,000 plus families that this S0B killed. The planet is a better place without him, and the fires of hell are burning that much hotter and brighter.

Their mothers may take pause and think about what they were about to do.
Or they may be afraid to go near the clinic.
This is a good thing.

You may be a bit late but you’re right on target. If so-called ‘conservatives’ were more interested in doing the right thing instead of worrying about how they’re going to look to the Democrats they might be able to enlist a following.
What about the unaligned? those needed to be persuaded that abortion is vile and should be made illegal? do you care what they think? rank and file Americans, those without a firm commitment to the pro-life cause, who are led to think the pro-life community is peopled by the lunatic fringe, are not likely to join it.
Our country has strayed from the rule of law. Many of our public officials are corrupt and openly break the law.
Our laws should be based on Gods law. When the government strays from that it must be brought back into line. Of course peacefully is always preferable. Hopefully this doesn’t act as a trigger for more violence.

That’s Pharasees thinking. I don’t think the Creator of the universe has a problem with people repenting at an unscheduled time and place.
It was a woman who took shots at Tiller, the last time.
She, obviously, was a terrible shot.
She went to prison, where she belonged.
How many innocent lives were saved by this? I would hope the other murderers out there at Planned Parenthood and other death mills start looking over their shoulders a little wondering who will be next?
You're absolutely right, but the left has a cause that is popular, or popular with the press, at any rate, so that makes it OK.
In any case, we're better than they are! Violence is much more acceptable on the left; look at their "anti-globalization" riots.
Still, I think we have to avoid going overboard in our apologies; we, after all, did not encourage murder, do not condone it, and our principles do not permit it. So, in a sense, there's really nothing to apologize for.

Public sentiment is running ever more against abortion.
It is tolerated, in large part, because the average person doesn’t know or more likely has blocked out what kind of numbers are involved here.

I HOPE the Left gives us an opportunity to get the truth more widely known by using the Tiller case as a “propaganda piece”.
