Obama's Great-Uncle Says President Visiting Concentration Camp Site for 'Political Reasons'
Foxnews ^ | 6/1/2009 | Staff

President Obama's scheduled visit to a former Nazi concentration camp is being done for "political reasons," the president's great-uncle -- who helped liberate that camp -- said in a recent interview.

Obama plans to visit Germany's Buchenwald site as part of his multi-country tour, which begins this week.

Charles Payne, Obama's great-uncle who helped liberate a sub-camp of Buchenwald during World War II, spoke frankly about the visit in an interview with Germany's Der Spiegel magazine.

Asked if Obama would be traveling in his footsteps, Payne said: "I don't buy that. ... This is a trip that he chose, not because of me I'm sure, but for political reasons."

He said Obama also might be trying to improve his "standing" with Chancellor Angela Merkel, since "she gave him a hard time during his campaign and also afterwards."

It was a picture of a chubby Ann, a chubby Jr and a long haired Jon sitting in the background during what he called his long haired days drinking a can of beer. The picture was taken during the summer trip across America and was taken in Chicago, if you do not have it I will try and find it tomorrow on the long thread and post the link to it myself.

Not only is it for political reasons but from what I gather, nobody in Obama’s family ever liberated Auschwitz or one of its satellite camps. The man who did had a different middle initial than Obama’s great uncle.

The Charlie Payne that was a liberator was not kin to Obama. He had a different middle initial in his name.

Obama's story about his great-uncle liberating Buchenwald, is total BS. It is a total fabrication based on the fact that the man who did liberate Buchenwald happened to have Obama's great uncles name.

The thing is that they don't share the same middle initial and Obama's great uncle was too old to go into combat even though he served.

All great lies have an element of truth. Obama is a master of this. He may be one of the greatest liars of all time.

Here is a link to Madelyn’s family mentioning she is the oldest of four children and the youngest is Jack, although he goes by the name of Jon, I will continue looking for the picture of Jon during the cross America trip since co-operation seems to be lacking amongst certain freepers but genealogists even make mistakes when they say Madelyn was one of only three children when there were actually four children in the family. When I find the picture I will post the link to it.

You really have to take a step back and think about how disgusting it is to lie about the liberation of a concentration camp of all things wholly for the purpose of political purposes. Only a vile, hopelessly narcissistic person would do such a thing.

I said in my last post that Obama's uncle was too old but it was really his great grandfather that was too old.

Why is he relavant?

Because he was also a Charlie Payne and shared the same middle initial with the Charlie Payne that liberated Buchenwald.

I saw that segment but the Charles Payne there did not deny being related to Obama, just stated that Obama was doing this for political reasons.

Officially the US Army Air Forces from 1941-1947.

I think I would have referred to that mouthful as the Air Force, especially when speaking to a foreigner who would be likely most familiar with the present terminology.

(Dad was USAF 1958-1984; I was Army 1986-1999.)

Before the Soviets liberated Hitler's concentration camps, the Nazis and Soviets were allies...

Above: Soviet Foreign Minister Molotov signs the Nazi-Soviet Non-aggression Pact while German Foreign Minister Von Ribbentrop and Soviet leader Stalin look on under a portrait of Lenin, August 23, 1939. News of the Pact stunned the world and paved the way for the beginning of World War Two with Hitler assured the Germans would not have to fight a war on two fronts.

NYT Writer Corrects Record: Pete Seeger 'Only' 40 Years Late in Denouncing Stalin
By P.J. Gladnick
2007-09-02

The New York Times has now corrected [1] a "smear" about Pete Seeger being 50 years too late in denouncing Stalin. Thanks to the intrepid research of Times reporter Daniel J. Wakin, the record has now been set straight. Pete Seeger was only about 40 years too late in criticizing Stalin.

America’s Most Successful Communist (Pete Seeger):
By Howard Husock, Summer 2005

"The Popular Front sought to enlist Western artists and intellectuals, some of them not party members but “fellow travelers,” to use art, literature, and music to insinuate the Marxist worldview into the broader culture. The murals of Diego Rivera, the poetry of Langston Hughes, the novels of Howard Fast—all exemplified this approach. It’s an irony that communists should seek to change the culture, of course, since Marxism holds that culture is merely a reflection of underlying economic structures, whose transformation will bring about capitalism’s inevitable collapse."

Springsteen's Homage to Pete Seeger
By Tom Moon

World Cafe, April 25, 2006 - On the new collection We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions, Bruce Springsteen honors the folk music tradition that has inspired many of his own compositions over the years. All the tracks on the new album are standards closely associated with folk icon Pete Seeger.

Springsteen assembled large ensemble of acoustic musicians to flavor the proceedings with everything from accordion to tuba. Rock critic Tom Moon talks with host David Dye about why he reacted so strongly and positively towards this latest offering by The Boss.

Obama’s Red Mentor Praised Red Army
AIM Report | By Cliff Kincaid | April 30, 2008

Frank Marshall Davis

Barack Obama’s childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA (CPUSA), wrote a poem dedicated to the Soviet Red Army. “Smash on, victory-eating Red Army,” he declared. He also wrote poems attacking traditional Christianity and the work of Christian missionaries.

The “Red Army” poem goes beyond hoping for the communists to beat the Nazis in World War II and hails the Soviet revolution. It says:

Show the marveling multitudes
Americans, British, all your allied brothers
How strong you are
How great you are
How your young tree of new unity
Planted twenty-five years ago
Bears today the golden fruit of victory!

Barack Obama, from Dreams from My Father, Three Rivers Press, New York, Revised Edition, 2004, ISBN 1-4000-8277-3, p. 76-7:
"But by the time I met Frank [Frank Marshall Davis] he must have been pushing eighty, with a big, dewlapped face and an ill-kempt gray Afro that made him look like an old, shaggy-maned lion. He would read us his poetry whenever we stopped by his house, sharing whiskey with Gramps out of an emptied jelly jar."
