Why would I know anyone associated with this?

I’ve heard that in South Galveston County (Texas City, La Marque, Hitchcock, etc.) that illegal gambling establishments have become a big problem that the cops pretty much ignore them except when they get robbed, assuming that someone actually calls in the robbery. This is just the first one where a patron shot a robber. There have been others where the robbers shot a patron or worker.

Needless tho say that this is what happens when you have Democrats are your Sheriff, county commissioners, constables, police chiefs, mayors and city council members. There are generations of corruption in these parts of Galveston County that have allowed illegal gambling and the associated criminal activity keep the locals poor, complacent and on the Democrat plantation.

The unfortunate thing is that the local Republicans have been unwilling or incompetent on pulling the local conservative Democrats over to vote for quality Republican candidates. It really wouldn’t be that tough, if done right.

The question about knowing him was a joke. The question about game rooms was for real.
