I’m trying to keep my powder dry right now-but sometimes I get so mad I can’t resist.

“I wonder if I could vote in New Jersy even though I don’t live there.”

“Sure you can if you vote democrat!!!!!!!!!!”

Actually, it seems that they wanted people to vote republican to make sure that Cristie was the one to oppose corzine. twice as many repub votes were cast as were democrats. Definitely feels like the dems were ballot stuffing the repub primary.

As always the Democrat stronghold in Ohio is in the Cleveland ADM. Lorain/Elyria, Cleveland, Akron/Canton, Warren/Youngstown, are the Democrat areas. The inner cities of Columbus, and Cincinnati/Dayton can not make up the heavy rural and suburban Republican vote in those areas.

If the Ohio Republican Party, particularly the Cuyahoga county Rep. party can man the voting booths, they can keep the fraud down to a minimum. Also, by the time of the election the O’Bummer bloom should be off the rose. What I don't get is the persistent popularity of Ted Strickland. It is amazing to me because I always billed him as someone who was almost as dynamic as Bob Taft.

If you're an independent, you can vote in a primary by “declaring” a party at the polls. The next day you contact the county and they send you the paperwork to re-declare as unaffiliated. NBD!
