I wouldn’t be at all surprised if 0bammy’s likeness is a fake that was added when it was known he would be visiting the pyramid.

Obama said it first, which made me think it was staged. That Egyptian guy is a total whack-job, media whore and I wouldn’t put it past him to create an instant Obama myth.

Well lets see. Tut was an African. His mother and father were members of a radical organization that threw the nation into chaos. Tut was an unsuccessful leader who left nothing behind but chaos. He came to power as a boy with no idea what he was doing. His wife was a traitor who tried to sell the throne of Egypt to the people of modern day Turkey. When Tut did try to enact his mothers radical addenda the bureaucrats bumped him off and erased his name from every document in the land.

Yep pretty close.

The boy king that accomplished little in life and hyped by the media as something greater.

Yeah, makes total sense.

King Tut (King Tut)

Now when he was a young man,

He never thought he'd see

People stand in line to see the boy king.

(King Tut) How'd you get so funky?

(funky Tut) Did you do the monkey?

Born in Arizona,

Moved to Babylonia (king Tut).

(king Tut) Now, if I'd known

they'd line up just to see him,

I'd trade in all my money

And bought me a museum. (king Tut)

Buried with a donkey (funky Tut)

He's my favorite honkey!

Born in Arizona,

Moved to Babylonia (king Tut)

Dancin' by the Nile, (Disco Tut)

The ladies love his style, (boss Tut)

Rockin' for a mile (rockin' Tut)

He ate a crocodile.

He gave his life for tourism.

Golden idol!

He's an Egyptian

They're sellin' you.

Now, when I die,

now don't think I'm a nut,

don't want no fancy funeral,

Just one like ole king Tut. (king Tut)

He coulda won a Grammy,

Buried in his Jammies,

Born in Arizona, moved to Babylonia,

He was born in Arizona, got a condo made of stone-a,

King Tut!

The new King Tut? I had in mind another Egyptian monarch:

Ozymandias

I met a traveler from an antique land,
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled hp and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read,
Which yet survive stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
.And on the pedestal these words appear:
‘My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my works. Ye Mighty, and despair!’
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

—Percy Shelley

I thought the same thing! It looks too cartoony for a heiroglyphics or however you spell it. And aren’t most drawn from a side view?

I keep remembering seeing something about a man in a turban. Obama isn’t wearing a turban, but he is in theory.

There are some similar megalomaniaical outbursts...to the King Tut played by Victor Buono in the old “Batman” TV series. :)
