David Letterman is in the hot seat for several crude jokes he made on CBS' "The Late Show" about Sarah Palin and her teenage daughter.

Letterman, in his monologue Monday night, noted that the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate attended a Yankees game during a trip to New York City, where she was honored by a special needs group. Letterman referred to Palin, Alaska's governor, as having the style of a "slutty flight attendant."

I am writing to complain about Mr. Letterman's disgusting comments regarding the Palin Family.

Does he have to stoop so low as to attack a 14 year old child with sex jokes to get a laugh?

I was a big fan of several of your programs. Especially NCIS. I have programmed my CBS affiliate out of the program lineup on my cable box and will be boycotting your sponsors.

The real reason he was nasty to the Palins is that he was jealous that Sarah could take her fourteen year old to a ball game. When Dave's kid is fourteen old Dave's ticker will have given out. The only park he will be visiting will have headstones.

As people age and approach the end of their life some become joyous and bask in the wonders that they have seen and done; others become mean,resentfull and disoriented as they wonder why they were never picked to host the tonight show.
