Heb 9:27 - a book whose Pauline authorship has been questioned. I look at this chapter of Hebrews as focused more upon recalling the eternal priesthood and sacrifice, which the author directed to those in danger of apostasy of indifference and falling back to familiar ways. 9:27 is more a call to remember that He came to fulfill the law, as it was foretold in the prophesies, than teaching that death and judgment are simultaneous by referring in its language to Isaiah 53:12:

Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

You and I will pray for those who still have a chance at salvation my FRiend. Peace be with you.

The apostles were not without fault even though they have been Sainted. In Revelation John bows down to worship an angel twice and is reprimanded both times for doing it. Peter denied Christ three times. Just because they did something does not make that holy and right. The Bible points out the faults of man as well as the ticket to salvation. It does teach us that our eternity is based on what we did with Christ while we were alive and then we die and face our judgment for eternity. No second chances but if you can find one, please let me know.

It takes real guts to actually examine the other side, and their point of view, with an unbiased eye.

Your mom, like most liberals, is at the effect of one of liberalism’s chief commandments, which is, THOU SHALT NOT LOOK.

As long as she obeys that one rigid commandment, she will never allow you, or anyone else to expose her to the truth.

She will never allow herself to be curious, or to seek any information outside left-wing approved data sources. It’s an insidious trap. She alone holds the key to the prison of her indoctrination, but she’s been cleverly convinced that there is no key.

I know this, because a long time ago, I decided to disobey the rules, and found my own key.

May I ask which part of that post in inaccurate? Further, which part of anything I wrote do you claim is your justification for calling my post “textbook bigotry”?

“Don’t let your hatred for the past blind you to the realities of the present.”

Hatred is what you are reading into what I posted. Only fools and Liberals and children indulge in hatred of an enemy.

Adults know they must deal with their enemy rationally, so that they can defeat their enemy.

However, on what basis do you claim Iran is not Muslim? Let’s not delude ourselves about remnant populations of other religious groups still surviving in Iran.

Should you doubt this, consider the position of the Kurds.

As for your question about the murdered girl’s role in the Iranian Revolution - who knows? It is not of any significance.

In wars, particularly religious wars, there are many killed, but to assume she was a “peaceful Muslim”, which is what I think you are implying, that is a non starter of an argument.

Of course, you can always attempt to rationalize the many words in the Islamic “holy Books” that discuss jihad. Before attempting that fools errand, do be advised that about 3% of the words about jihad are about internal struggle with anything. 97% of the words in the Muslim faith regarding jihad are about violent attacks on others.

Neda, young girl brutally killed in Iran (portrait of Neda)

They call her Neda, which means ‘voice’ in Farsi, and her death has become the central rallying cry of the Iranian rebellion.

The pretty teenage girl killed by what appears to be a single sniper shot on the streets of Tehran Saturday is now a potent symbol for pro-democracy protesters battering the Islamic regime.

Her quick and brutal death in the arms of her howling father was captured on close-up video, posted to Facebook and sent to computer screens across the world.

“Neda you broke my heart, too young to die,” was one of a flood of messages on Twitter.

“RIP Neda, the world cries seeing your last breath,” read another. “Neda is everyone’s sister, everyone’s daughter, everyone’s voice for freedom,” said a third.

Iconic posters of her dead face, open-eyed and bloody, were carried by demonstrators in Los Angeles and New York City within hours.

The graphic video was originally posted to Facebook by an Iranian expatriate in Holland who said it was sent to him by a friend in Tehran, a doctor who tried to save the girl.

The expat said her name was Neda Soltani, a 16-year-old philosophy student.

The outpouring of messages on Twitter included a new account dedicated solely to insisting the video was fake. That poster was roundly shouted down as a tool of the Iranian regime.

Confirming The Basij Murder Of Neda

An email explaining the incident:

“At 19:05 June 20th Place: Karekar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st.

A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house.

He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart.

I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her.

But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim’s chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes.

The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gass used among them, towards Salehi St.

The film is shot by my friend who was standing beside me. Please let the world know.”

You’ve picked the wrong group of people..

Which Middle East country held spontaneous candlelight vigils for victims of the World Trade Center Attack on 9/11?

* Kuwait - No.
* Saudi Arabia - No.
* Israel - No.
* Iran - Yes.
