Why do you feel the need to judge each Christian? You are not God.

Christians are man - same as all other men. Except, that they believe in God and seek His way. They will fail as small children fall as they learn to walk. Yet, matured Christians are a beauty to behold.

We are all on a walk with Jesus. The more we serve Him, the more our relationship grows and the easier it is to serve Him. As we grow closer to God, man’s strivings become less important and we see the world in altered ways.

But, we are all on a life journey and we are faced with temptations and often fall. But, and this is the important thing, we look to God and Jesus for direction and our path will grow toward God and Jesus. How can that be a bad thing?

Atheist believe the lie of the Serpent “You shall be like Gods ... knowing good from evil.”

_______________________________________________________
Genesis 3:4-5 (King James Version)

4.And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5.For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”
__________________________________________________________

The way of Cain ... was not to follow God's way but his own way.

(Bad result) It continues today.

How anyone can look at the miracle of birth, the systems of our body, the eye ... is so complicated, our heart, brain, blood, the self healing, bones that grow together when broken, cuts that close, etc. etc. ... and not see the wonder it all ... the miracles that surround us daily, is blind indeed. The universe holds wonders and the variety of life on earth is amazing.

Evolution is a theory and despite their saying it is proven ... it is not. There are many things we accept and take as ordinary that are anything but ordinary. EXTRAORDINARY.

ELECTRICITY. WE USE IT YET WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT. GRAVITY. our atmosphere ...air ... water we use water and can locate water but we can not create water out of nothing, or dirt .. ...

God created the world, humans, animals, plants, trees, etc.

God help us in our day. Amen. “Of ourselves we can do nothing.”

“ Christians have a HOPE and not for this life only; but for life after death ... eternal life. Nothing trumps that. Praise God.

Crying "Hypocrisy!" is a tool used by the immoral people to beat up those people who actually care about morality.

I generally agree, especially in the political arena. In most cases in politics, it is just immoral people who put up a false front of morality in public and then get caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Outside of politics, all people (except for saints) have their failings and don't always live up to their own beliefs. The test comes when you admit you failing and make amends and vow to do better in the future.

C.S. Lewis a former atheist that became one of the best Christian authors of the last century. I have read almost all of his books.

You, in your omniscience, are "sure" that I fit in one of your boxes, even though you don't know me from Adam.

Arrogance is a hallmark of atheists.

Excellent article.

There’s also this.....

‘Anti-religionists such as Mr. Maher bring to mind the assertion of G.K. Chesterton’s Father Brown character that all atheists, secularists, humanists and rationalists are susceptible to superstition: “It’s the first effect of not believing in God that you lose your common sense, and can’t see things as they are.”’

Funny thing is, for all the atheists disparaging of Christians as being anti-science, anti-vaccine, etc., one of the most influential people in getting that small pox inoculations going was Cotton Mather.

You make it sound as if all believers have had such hallucinations that they call divine intervention.

Tell me the logic of a supposed omnipotent, infallible god who has this need to test his own creation, allows Satan to exist, and delivers spiritual “updates” to Man through “service packs”.

The concept of “endowed rights” needn’t mean to imply a “creator”.

The principle of reciprocity doesn’t need a god for it to function.

Serpent. Oh my, the talking snake.

How does this God reconcile with the existence of Satan?

“Believers” is a collectivist term. For the Catholics, the Protestants are not true believers. For the Protestants, the Catholics are heretics. Then you have the rest of the items in the basket. Same with Islam. Shia, Sunni, et al. One man’s belief is another’s heresy.

Why would a god need to test his own creation? Why would he need to threaten men with dire consequences to win them over? How is the unity of God not challenged by the supposed existence of Satan?

Arrogance is a hallmark of atheists.

I'm sure the believers never display their smug sense of superiority by claiming that they have been "saved".

Why do you feel the need to judge each Christian? You are not God.

The only ones passing judgment are those who carry over themselves the false-badge of "saved" status.

Communism is much more than mere Atheism.

All of your logic is akin to this:

The Communists were Atheists, ergo Atheists are killers, and if you believe in an imaginary being in the sky, then you won’t become killers.

PS: Tell me what is mentioned in the Bible about what Paradise is all about.

Just thought you might find this interesting:

 The Bhagavad-Gita.

Chapter XII

ARJUNA:

LORD! of the men who serve Thee—true in heart—

As God revealed; and of the men who serve,
Worshipping Thee Unrevealed, Unbodied, far,
Which take the better way of faith and life?

KRISHNA:

Whoever serve Me—as I show Myself—

        5
Constantly true, in full devotion fixed,
These hold I very holy. But who serve—
Worshipping Me The One, The Invisible,
The Unrevealed, Unnamed, Unthinkable,
Uttermost, All-pervading, Highest, Sure—         10
Who thus adore Me, mastering their sense,
Of one set mind to all, glad in all good,
These blessed souls come unto Me.
        Yet, hard
The travail is for whoso bend their minds         15
To reach th’ Unmanifest. That viewless path
Shall scarce be trod by man bearing his flesh!
But whereso any doeth all his deeds,
Renouncing self in Me, full of Me, fixed
To serve only the Highest, night and day         20
Musing on Me—him will I swiftly lift
Forth from life’s ocean of distress and death
Whose soul clings fast to Me. Cling thou to Me!
Clasp Me with heart and mind! so shalt thou dwell
Surely with Me on high. But if thy thought         25
Droops from such height; if thou be’st weak to set
Body and soul upon Me constantly,
Despair not! give Me lower service! seek
To read Me, worshipping with steadfast will;
And, if thou canst not worship steadfastly,         30
Work for Me, toil in works pleasing to Me!
For he that laboreth right for love of Me
Shall finally attain! But, if in this
Thy faint heart fails, bring Me thy failure! find
Refuge in Me! let fruits of labor go,         35
Renouncing all for Me, with lowliest heart,
So shalt thou come; for, though to know is more
Than diligence, yet worship better is
Than knowing, and renouncing better still
Near to renunciation—very near—         40
Dwelleth Eternal Peace!
        Who hateth nought
Of all which lives, living himself benign,
Compassionate, from arrogance exempt,
Exempt from love of self, unchangeable         45
By good or ill; patient, contented, firm
In faith, mastering himself, true to his word,
Seeking Me, heart and soul; vowed unto Me,—
That man I love! Who troubleth not his kind,
And is not troubled by them; clear of wrath,         50
Living too high for gladness, grief, or fear,
That man I love! Who, dwelling quiet-eyed,
Stainless, serene, well-balanced, unperplexed,
Working with Me, yet from all works detached,
That man I love! Who, fixed in faith on Me,         55
Dotes upon none, scorns none; rejoices not,
And grieves not, letting good and evil hap
Light when it will, and when it will depart,
That man I love! Who, unto friend and foe
Keeping an equal heart, with equal mind         60
Bears shame and glory, with an equal peace
Takes heat and cold, pleasure and pain; abides
Quit of desires, hears praise or calumny
In passionless restraint, unmoved by each,
Linked by no ties to earth, steadfast in Me,         65
That man I love! But most of all I love
Those happy ones to whom ’tis life to live
In single fervid faith and love unseeing,
Eating the blessèd Amrit of my Being!

Here endeth Chapter XII. of the Bhagavad-Gîtâ,
        70
entitled “Bhakityôgô,” or “The Book of

the Religion of Faith”
