>>So the cure-all would be to start forcing within oneself the belief in an imaginary being in the sky?
What is Paradise described in the Bible, as?<<
None of the above has anything to do with Communism being atheist.
The answers to the question I posed will show you the reason why Atheists exist.
But they have nothing to do with
1. this article
2. Communists being atheists
Which of course are the ideas being discussed here.
Do I care why atheists exist? Not really. Doesn’t bother me one bit if you believe in God or not.
Do I care that atheists are infringing on my right to freedom of religion? Sure do. And that’s about that.
Do I care that Atheists Communists are infringing on my right to freedom of religion? Sure do. And thats about that.
Corrected.
Communists being Atheists
Like I said before, a Communist baking a cake does not make all Atheists, bakers.
Not to mention Thomas Jefferson was an Atheist, and most of the Founding Fathers were Deists (just about the same thing).
>>Do I care that Atheists Communists are infringing on my right to freedom of religion? Sure do. And thats about that. <<
Nope, sorry but Communists aren’t the people freaking out about the Pledge of Allegiance and “In God We Trust” on money.
When your no longer in denial that communist regimes are atheist, we can talk. Otherwise, bu-bye.
You are indulging in confusion, again.
Bickering about the Pledge of Allegience or the motto on coins, isn’t the same thing as getting the Fundamental Rights revoked.
Please use your intelligence.
Good point. Sometimes I see Atheists go after Islam, but whenever Islam is pointed out, someone always jumps up to say "Christianity is just as bad".
You do realize that your smarmy answer proves the article correct, right?
When (hopefully) you become saved I hope you become as you say and risk life and limb to spread The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Said a prayer for you, from an x-athiest to the LORD of Life for you.
Indeed, and thank you very much! I really meant that.
And you do realize that you’ve only managed to display that your faith only goes so far as stays within a certain “comfort zone”; as I had mentioned earlier, a psychological salve, largely adopted by you to enjoy that smug sense of superiority that you’ve so eloquently displayed so far, here, don’t you?
I’m not every poster on this thread.
You are the only atheist. No need to attribute everyone’s statements to me because you’ve proven the article to be correct.
While you have defined what you believe makes a Christian, you have shown what only you are.
Seriously, is this “smug sense of superiority” he’s seeing a projection or what?
You are repeatedly proving the point I made quite early on, regarding how much you are willing to sacrifice for an entity you believe promises you far greater things after death.
As far as can be inferred from your repeated efforts to justify not willing to “risk it all” for your supposed savior, your faith is rather feeble.
Well, in my experience working Psych, yes.
In fact, from a DSM diagnostic point of view, I would say “Projective Identification”
>>Projective identification may be differentiated from projection when the individual does not completely disavow what is projected. Instead, the person remains aware of his or her own feelings or emotions, but misattributes them and regards them as being justifiable reactions to the behaviour of the other person.<<
Something I've seen working pretty good is idea-exchange, and if you've got a minute I'd be grateful if you'd share how your belief system sorts by value. Like, what's good and bad in your book.
I remember you from late 2008, not long after you signed up to FR.
Weren’t you pretending to be Hindu, and trying to get people to go to your little Hindu Wiki page, that turned out to be a Christian-bashing, pro-evo site?
OH REALLY?!?
Do you feel nice and superior to all us believers now that you've been able to tell us that we have weak or feeble faith because we don't march lockstep to your demands for what is spiritual and what is not?
It does fit in well with post 159, now doesn't it?
