A commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards has been arrested for refusing to obey Iran's Supreme Leader, according to reports from the Balatarin.

General Ali Fazli, who was recently appointed as a commander of the Revolutionary Guards in the province of Tehran, is reported to have been arrested after he refused to carry out orders from the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei to use force on people protesting the controversial re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Fazli, a veteran of the devastating Iran-Iraq war is also believed to have been sacked and taken to an unknown location.

The Revolutionary Guards is a separate body to the mainstream armed forces in Iran and is seen as one of the main and most powerful bodies responsible for protecting the Islamic theocratic regime.

Earlier today the Revolutionary Guards issued a warning on its website threatening to come down hard on Iranians who continue protesting against what many in the country see as rigged elections

Not just yet.

"Neda, Is She Iran’s Joan of Arc?"

Well, Joan of arc did fight for France, but she fought and died for the king. Not sure if the analogy fits...

"Except we have guns. I was pointing out that fact to my kids today. If police fired randomly into a crowd in the US, there would be return fire."

And that's why I'm hoping there are CIA and Mossad agents happily handing out AKs to those who want to defend themselves... Maybe I'm delusional to believe that could happen.

Yeah, it could be sooner, but there has to be a trigger event, like this election in Iran.

2010 could be a trigger event, if ACORN or the Black Panthers engage in voter intimidation and fraud again.

“If police fired randomly into a crowd in the US, there would be return fire”. Depends on where it happens. If it is in a lib run “gun free zone”, like most coastal cities, it would be ugly.

Iran has been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American service men and women. If Zero had any balls we’d be airdropping thousands of these over Tehran and other Iranian cities:

Then we’d see how the Revolutionary Guard thugs like dealing with protesters who have a sting of their own. Maybe more of them would then turn.

And the president of the US is not strongly supporting these brave people desiring freedom, why?

Because standing next to Ahmadinnerjacket, Obama looks sane and stately.

“American Patriots need to watch this play out.
It could happen this way in 3 years.”

Yes, I keep thinking the same thing. How naive we have been to take our freedoms for granted...

Lets guess, Zero was raised a Muslim; Zero hides his Birth Certificate; Zero hides all associations of the past; Zero denies close friendship with Unrepentant terrorist William Ayers who bombed the Pentagon and wrote Zero’s alleged “MEMOIRS!” which required extremely close relationship; Zero gives huge speech to Muslims Not from U.S. Capital, but from Cairo!! ad infinitum........

American Patriots need to watch this play out. It could happen this way in 3 years.

There is no "could". If the exec branch orders the US military to fire on demonstrators, there will be tanks in DC arresting the executive AND legislative branches wholesale. Oath is to upholding the constitution, not tyrants elected with a slick campaign that fooled millions.

How about a different scenario,
where a state refuses to enforce, or allow to be enforced,
an unconstitutional law within the boundaries of that state,

0bama sends out fedthugs, and the people of the state arrest said fedthugs....

now what?

But what if the executive branch wanted it to look like you and the rest of the people in your ‘compound’ burnt themselves to death?

Obama doesn’t need to command the US military to do anything. He just needs the ATF.

Taking on a nation of +200 million snipers, hit and run “Red Dawn” tactics, not smart to try.

If something like Waco were to start to unfold today,

the feds wouldn’t have to worry about gunfire coming from INSIDE the “compound” as much as from OUTSIDE their perimeter.
