Even Bill O’Reilly (who has been pretty cold-blooded about the murder of Dr. George Tiller) seems a little taken aback when Ann Coulter says, “I don’t think of it as a murder ... I am personally opposed to shooting abortionists, but I don’t believe in imposing my morality on others.”
And: “If you don’t believe in shooting abortionists, don’t shoot an abortionist.” And: “That’s why liberals are so hysterical about this, because generally they’re on the pro-death side ... in this one case, they’re finally against someone dying, a man responsible for killing 60,000 babies.”

She’s making a point here. A lot of Coulter says is in a rhetorical context. Her target is the idiocy of people who “mourn” Tiller the killer, but nothing is said about the 60K babies he terminated.

Ann is just giving it back to the liberals in their own language. If abortion, the killing of innocent babies, should be a “choice,” then why shouldn’t murder be a “choice”?
If a politician can stand there and say, “I am personally opposed to abortion, but . . .” and then vote for every kind of abortion bill that comes down the pike, then why shouldn’t Ann stand there and say it.
She is just pointing out the absurdity of these liberal positions.
After all, what murder victim is more innocent than a baby?

Ann’s just mimicking the lame reasons that the “pro-choice” crowd uses when attempting to justify their support for abortion. Our Annie. She is a caution.
She’s just twisting the pro-abortionists’ own words and arguments back on them. They do sound chilling, but because everyone has become so jaded over the years it takes a fresh use of the words and arguments to restore their jolting quality.
