All this is necessary for good people to see the truth. Be patient.

I completely agree, and have been saying that for months. The worse it gets, the larger the number of people who are truly angry. I am rather pleased that this administration continues to work to destroy our country, because only massive pain on a personal level will wake up the sheeple.

Well, I see a silver lining in these otherwise dark clouds. Firstly, the election of Franken(stein) was all about disatisfaction with George Bush and had very little to do with Norm Coleman. Now, Bush is gone. Mr. 0zero has the con but the ship of state is entering stormy waters of despair the likes that Bush never experienced. His was a tropical depression...this is gonna be a full blown hurricane. And sometime, probably by late 2013, Mr. Franken is going to be puking at the rail trying to hold on for dear life as the Democratic vessel begins to capsize on him because there will be a new commander on the bridge having taken over in 2012!

Nothing can be done to stop BHO’s plans for a socialist America at least until November 2010.

Look, if the GOP doesn’t start to take on ACORN and similar organizations we can kiss free elections goodbye forever. I have been calling my Senators to get them on the ball to make SURE ACORN is not around for 2010 or 2012...

That's a good questions. I hope this isn't a game changer or the economy is going to take a major hit right in the gut. Especially when even Canada is looking more like a tax haven:

Canada - the new tax haven?

I have been thinking the same since the election. As long as the MSM presents Obama the Messiah to people, nothing will change. When his policies start to personally affect enough people-—change will come.

“Does this mean Cap and Trade cannot be stopped now?”

No, but it is a +2 vote swing towards the environuts.

Inhofe seems sure that the Dems only have around 35 “yes” votes.

What are the party affiliations of the five judges?

For that matter, what is the party affiliation of the Minnesota governor who said he would certify Franken if the court ruled in his favor?

Here we have a state that elected a wrestler as Governor and and a comedian as a Senator. Someone somewhere must be REAL proud to be from Minnesota. Let’s not forget the spineless current Governor who stood by and DID NOTHING. America, we get what we deserve.

I believe it is still dead because I just do not see all of the moderate democrats voting for it. Also, the dems already had a 60 vote majority because of senators like Snowe and Collins.

Correct. It took having the CA Assembly and Ahnold drive the car off the cliff before sanity started to make a comeback with the defeat of 1a.

All of the lib ideas are bad and they will fail. Then, buckle up for the massive swing back.

True, but we have to be realists: they ALREADY HAD a supermajority. Snow/Collins/McCain (half the time) will always vote with the Rats, and Coleman would have done so many times as well.

As on a sports team, sometimes you need to trade away players who have a lot of "pop" but don't make the plays. We need to get down, if necessary, to 30 Senators (or 25 or whatever the number is) that we can absolutely count on every single time. Only then can we build and take back the senate that is anything but window dressing.

The United States Senate and its rogues gallery of charlatans and fools richly deserves this degenerate clown in its ranks.

Senator Al Franken should be exalted by conservatives as the primary symbol of today’s despicable and horrid U.S. Senate.

They deserve him.

We need to get the details of cap & trade out to the public. The MSM will not do it. It’s up to us. We need some big donors, (where are all the companies that will be effected by this) to take out ads..just get the word out. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT’S IN THIS BILL..and it’s time everybody did.

Yes, Coleman should take it to the SCOTUS even if the Republican governor certifies the election.

However, my guess is that the SCOTUS would Deny Cert in the Coleman case.

Yes, the governor says he will certify the election however, that does not mean that Cloleman or a citizen of the State of Minnesota cannot file a case with the SCOTUS.

However, I would not expect the SCOTUS to want to hear the case.

Franken is in.

I beg to differ. I do not believe the citizens of MN elected Frankenstein. RATs, as usual, stole the election. They keep manufacturing votes. That is the RAT way. ACORN cheats enough to get the election close and then the lawyers take over.

MN has always been a bit oddball.

...the only state Reagan didn’t win in ‘84.

...the state that elected an ex-pro wrestler and conspiracy nut to be Gov.

...a state that elected the first Muslim to congress.

...and now, a commie “comedian” to the Senate.
