I will not fly the Flag of the United States of America in any manner not outlined by the US Code governing the display of the Flag of the United States of America.
I have no use for the Veterans Administration...in fact, I would prefer to die on the curb in front of the Veterans Administration Medical Center, before I would enter it and seek care.
Suffice to say, I have been treated badly by the VA. In order to avoid that in the future, I have decided to avoid the VA.
To hell with them.
Having said that, I say this:
I shed my blood on the ground of a foreign country in the defense of that flag.
That reason alone should suffice as to why I will not fly the flag upside down.
However, it was also a tactic of the stupid liberals and the supporters of Buttcrack Obummer, particularly while W was in office, to display the flag in that manner, in order to make a silly political point.
'Nuff said about that.
Bottom line...you may do as you please...but as for me, I shall not display the flag of these United States in any disrespectful manner...and flying it upside down to make a silly-ass political point is disrespectful.

Never will display the flag upside down. These vets, of all people, should hold dear what it stands for and not use it in protest.
I like the skull and crossbones idea, only put Barry’s face where the skull would be. Disrespecting the flag is not the answer.
That’s the symbol of surrender ... I’d rather put up lots of flags with Don’t Tread On Me and old Revolutionary War flags. Flying the flag upside down to me is you’re giving into those very people who want to take over our way of life.
You’re wrong on this point. Striking your colors means surrender, upside done means distress.

I just bought a tee-shirt (wearing it now) that has the colonial American flag with 13 stars and underneath it says “Est. 1776.” I found it in Albertson’s grocery store of all places in the $5 bin!
No-— I can’t do it! The flag was designed by and for true patriots, freedom loving people and represents a Constitutional Republic (albeit currently under distress). Plus the 60’s hippies turned it upside down and we ain’t them. Fly the Big ‘O’ logo upside down instead. I’m flying my USA flag upright!
Mrs. Eagle found a pretty cool shirt at Kohl's. It has the American flag flying diagonally upwards super-imposed over The Declaration of Independence.
That will by my 4th of July shirt.
There’s lots of sources out there, here’s one: www.patriotic-flags.com and BTW, the 13.00 polyesters last darn good. I’ve used them quite a bit over the years (this company).
I’ve flown them all from expensive sewn nylons and cotton to printed polys, the printed flags hold their colors well. This site has good variety once you get used to the links, the price is right, buy 3, get a US flag free, can’t beat that!
The Betsy Ross flag from The Revolutionary War, or as many refer to as the first American flag has 13 stars in a circle on a blue background with 13 strips.
Google for American flags or Revolutionary War flags, I am sure there are other flags available.

How many war veterans? Which VA Hospitals are closing, and which are being sold off and to whom? Lacks merit without those questions answered.
