To: Patriots, Friends and Citizens…lend me your ears
On behalf of Grassfire and ResistNet members, I would like to extend an invitation for you to join with us for our March in Washington on September 12th. Our Mission is to present a unified voice of concern over the current administration’s policies regarding taxation, our economy, foreign and domestic policy, as well as our individual constitutional rights as American citizens.
I encourage you to explore the Grassfire.org and Resistnet.com web sites to gain a better understanding of our forum. Once there, you will soon understand why almost 1,000 separate, individual groups have decided to simply link in and share ideas. Additionally, three national organizations; The FreedomWorks Foundation, the Tea Party Patriots and our Grassfire and ResistNet membership have agreed to walk hand in hand to communicate a unified and powerful message to the administration and our elected officials. While maintaining group autonomy, we still stand united for the common good of the people.
America is in trouble, the problems and issues are broad and complex and it will take a monumental effort to stop, change and reverse the destructive course that this administration and Congress has put us on. Together, we, “The People” can effect that change! Join us in Washington on September 12th.
The larger, the stronger and the more unified the voice; the more powerful the message that will be delivered on 9-12.
General Information on 9-12 Rally Travel Arrangements
I am pleased to announce that One Step Promotions and Incentives, Inc. has stepped forward to offer their services to manage the travel, hotel and on-site organization for our Washington Rally. One-Step will be offering a variety of travel and lodging packages for every budget.
All registration for the event as well as travel will be web based for speed, accuracy and privacy. The web site will be operational in the next few days. We would like to have you join us as we unite, peacefully, but with justified indignation and resolve, protesting an administration and Congress that does not represent the will of the people.
We are marching to protest the ever increasing tax burden that is being so unfairly placed on all of us to pay for the reckless decisions of a government gone wild. We refer to it as The Tax Payer March on D.C. It will begin at the Lincoln Memorial at 9:00am and culminate with a rally scheduled for 1:00pm at the Capitol Building. Our voices will be heard and our heads will be counted. If we are not willing to standup, walk and be heard than who will?
We are the Patriots of today. The future of our beloved country relies on each and every one of us and we must act now!

Funny that, I just received a notice from the IRS that I owe 10,160.00 from my 2007 taxes. I filed them properly (TurboTax) and claimed all of my income, they say I didn’t. I wonder if I am paranoid or being targeted for my activism?
I will be there, if not in jail.

Think of the IRS as a bunch of bureaucrats, sort of like the DMV. We are hassling with them right now, over a non-profit I belong to. Talking to the CPA, it has dawned on me that it is ALL petty bureaucrats filling out forms, looking for blanks. Fight on! Make them prove you owe it. Do talk to a CPA, who will know the ins and outs. But above all, do NOT be intimidated.

Thank you for your support. I have a CPA recco from a friend of mine and I will not go lightly into the night. I do not owe that money, looks like they screwed the pooch.

After they answer your question as to what the problem is, if they are not satisfied, get a lawyer.
You probably were kicked out by a set of flags and in this administration it would be “appears to have paid all of his taxes”.
It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I will update if I find out anything decisive. I am speaking to a friend’s CPA on Thursday, I have until 29JUL09 to respond.
