WRC (Channel 4) broadcast a report last night saying that the matter possibly involved domestic harassment or stalking. The report was based on unnamed police sources.
Barry’s attorney, Frederick D. Cooke Jr., said last night that he had heard a “rumor” that Barry had been detained or arrested. Cooke said he had just returned from watching fireworks and was trying to “find out what’s going on.”
this has got to be the "man"setting him up for failure.
NBC 4 is reporting tonight that Marion Barry was arrested today in a domestic dispute. The Twitter Buzz is that the charge was for stalking, but as the commenter on NBCWashington.com wrote, “the only thing it seemed that he was capable of stalking might be a stuffed animal or a warm glass of milk”.

Should Marion Barry go to jail for failing -- yet again -- to file his tax returns?
His last stint in the clink didn't seem to have much of an impact on the former mayor. As recently as 2005, he tested positive for marijuana and cocaine use. And in 2002, U.S. Park Police said they found crack cocaine and pot in Barry's Jaguar.

I’m not so much surprised to hear that he’s been arrested as I am to learn that he’s not already in prison. Who knew?!

I live in Maryland and as a long time Barry observer I can tell you that he has absolutely no, repeat NO redeeming qualities whatsoever.
He must be gearing up another election then. Worked the last time.
