Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) says Judge Sonia Sotomayor may be a "trade-up" from Justice David Souter.

Souter is a liberal yes, but from what I have heard and read he was a very retiring person-— not of an activist disposition. I think the difference between Sotomayor and Souter will be that she will push the envelope harder. But, being that the Supreme Court has to work in a consensual way and can’t be at each others throats, Roberts will reign her in and she’ll wind up being more like Ginsburg.
Wow Senator Graham, you sure are on top of things. We are trading one liberal for another, not that you are upset with that or anything.

Was Souter overruled 60 to 80% of the time by the Supreme Court? Who knew?

Senator Grahmnesty is a disgrace to his party. This is the same piece of crap that called anyone who opposed amnesty a bigot.
Please note the democrats all day have been extolling Sotomayor’s ability to overcome lifes obstacles, as if this automatically qualifies her for a position on the Supreme Court. They will never discuss her activist racist views and decisions which happened over and over again. Any Republican that votes for her nomination should be voted out of office next election.
A Justice Satan would be no worse than Souter.
