Where does it say that Henry? Where? There is NO guarantee that you can buy a policy in the market but page 16 very CLEARLY states you cannot.

Not a big waxman fan either - but if you start reading on page 14 of the bill, you’ll find that the author of the editorial was “reading challenged.”

“Insurers will no longer be able to exclude individuals from coverage based on pre-existing conditions and will be prevented from selectively refusing to renew coverage or charging different premiums based on an individual’s need for health care.”
In other words, we will make private health insurance so expensive by all these mandates, that everyone will be forced to join the government plan.
To: Kaslin
So is Waxman opting for the government plan for his own health care needs?

America's Affordable Health Choices Act will reform the individual health insurance market. It will create a transparent insurance marketplace that protects consumers and provides them with choices among quality, affordable health care plans.GOD HELP US!
Insurers will no longer be able to exclude individuals from coverage based on pre-existing conditions and will be prevented from selectively refusing to renew coverage or charging different premiums based on an individual's need for health care.
YOU PAY FOR EVERYBODY, REGARDLESS OF THEIR RISK, THEIR CITIZENSHIP, THEIR DRUG HABITS, ETC.
This new marketplace is called the Health Insurance Exchange. Effective in 2013, when the Exchange begins operation, health insurers may only offer individual coverage that meets insurance market reform standards
BUREAUCRATS WILL MAKE ALL YOUR HEALTH CARE DECISIONS.
