IRS Agent: Im Going to Kill All of You!

IRS Agent: ‘I’m Going to Kill All of You!’ Valencia, Calif. (July 17, 2009)

IRS agent Albert Bront threatened to kill a group of U.S. Treasury agents when they tried to search his home earlier this week.

Bront, 49, screamed, “I’m going to kill all of you!” at the agents, who had shown up at the doorstep of his Valencia, Calif., home on Monday with a search warrant. Bront learned that he was being investigated for filing false tax returns, according to a local newspaper, The Signal, of Santa Clarita Valley.

When the agents tried to serve the warrant, Bront tried to rush back inside his home, where he kept three loaded guns, but a Treasury agent aimed a gun at him and another drew out a baton. After his arrest, he kicked the front seat of the law enforcement vehicle and pounded the door with his elbow before telling the agents he didn’t mean it when he threatened to kill them.

Bront was ordered held without bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 28 in Los Angeles.

Maybe they’ll offer him an officer position within the civilian national security force?

A "baton." And what did he do then, sing the school cheer and rattle his pom-poms?

As an IRS agent, I’d be more scared of him “auditing me to death”.

One of the biggest groups of non-filers is employees of the IRS. It’s high time they start arresting these scofflaws.

A common criminal in a suit.

One wonders how many IRS agents are of similar type?

Just ANOTHER reason to abolish the IRS and the income tax!

Of course it's not gonna happen because the politicians use it as a tool to control the populace.

The officers were executing a warrant, and income tax evasion can (but not always) be regarded as a felony. Where’s the due process violation?

This is a perfect example of the problem with Big Government. It all looks swell on paper, but then you actually have to have people run it, and they are often the least motivated, least gifted and least ethical people, and then you actually have to have more people to act as watchdogs over the people that run it, and watchdogs over the watchdogs, etc. ad nauseum.

I carry an ASP, a brand of (steel rod) snap baton. You hit folks in the knees and elbows for example - a head strike can be fatal.

Oddly, a head strike with a wooden baton may not always be fatal. So our local LEO are forced to carry the old fashioned wooden batons.

“One of the biggest groups of non-filers is employees of the IRS. It’s high time they start arresting these scofflaws.”

Not true. The IRS examines each employees return every year. The largest group of non-filers is attorneys.

There is a current proposal from the Treasury Dept to make it a felony if there are three or more years of non filing.
