He is right it has. I have seen it several times. I was up all night with this, went to bed at 530 am Pacific, slept an hour checked in, slept another hour checked in, slept two hours and got up.
Britain was in the process of divesting itself of it’s colonies...it seems like it was doing it in an orderly way that the Foreign Office could handle. Kenya was pretty much at the bottom of the list due to the Kenyatta situation, Mau Mauism, etc. The new countries, although remaining part of the Commonwealth for economic reasons, wanted to emphasize their independence by calling themselves republics as opposed to dominions or establishing local monarchies.

Does anyone know why people say he was born in Mombasa as opposed to somewhere closer to the ancestral village? Nyang’oma Kogelo is a whole lot closer to Nairobi than Mombasa.
Why would he be looking here in Papua? Caligula has never been in Papua (that I know about). He lived in Jakarta, quite a distance away.
