According to the U.S. nationality law, a citizen at birth is a person born in the United States. Parental citizenship doesn’t matter. It only matters if the child is born outside of the United States.

There are just two types of citizens: born in the U.S. and naturalized (14th Amendment).
“Natural born” simply distinguishes between those born in the U.S. and those naturalized.

Well it’s a new day. Starting fresh. My reasons for thinking it’s real: the folds would be hard to fake and age, the star burn or stain appears to have bled onto the folded paper and that would be hard to fake, although easily doable, and finally the lack of signatures. I don’t know if it’s been discussed but that is a good sign. The original would have signatures, but a hand typed facsimile would not. My biggest reason for thinking it’s a fake: The name Joshua Simon Oduya? I keep thinking theres a pun in that name that I’m missing? Josh you? ... O do ya? Maybe it’s just me though!

It could be determined that a natural born citizen born overseas to two US citizens is a natural born citizen for the purpose of running for President.
The founding fathers wrote that into a law..then took it out during the French Revolution and when they wanted immigrants not to be able to vote for a particular party.

It could be determined that A child born to two US citizens in a foreign land is a natural born citizen for the purpose of running for President. This is the only time the natural born status kicks into play.

There is another definition as per SCOTUS.
I don’t believe they intended that definition to be one used for the presidency. I think it came from mixing terms.
