I dont care what name she died with- only what name she might have obtained a passport and/or SSN with in 1961

My question was, if she was married in Feb 61, and traveled- did she travel as a married woman, or under her maiden name? To travel as a married woman she would have needed proof of the marriage to apply for a new passport in her married name. Otherwise she traveled as Dunham

“If” an 18 yr old foreign woman gave birth in a Kenyan hospital, presumably on admission they would have referred to her passport for her legal name and other legal identity such as birthdate to issue the child’s birth certificate

One thing Africa and especially colonial Africa excelled at...was (and still is) bureaucracy
thanks

I agree this is really bad timing. It’s is a huge distraction from our fight against communist healthcare. Having Obama’s Kenyan Birth Certificate show up now, I think its Alinsky all over again.
No, he suggested that it is a possibility.. there is nothing final about this yet.

Which is why it needs to be analyzed by professionals and the court needs to weigh in. If it's a fake, the forgers should be prosecuted. If it's for real, well then it hits the fan.

You know what..., you’re exactly right. I’m not convinced he’s illegit. I’m also not convinced he’s legit. Something is up with this guy, and it baffles me to see folks on our side act as if there isn’t.

You don’t hide every scrap of reference to your life, if you don’t have something to hide. The problem for me right now, is that this wasn’t taking place last year and before.

This ass hat clown has been given a free ride. I want to know what contributes to the abysmal decisions he is making. Let’s get it all out there, so we can come to more informed conclusions about this guy.

IMO, if the whole of this guy’s existence was known, he wouldn’t be capable of being voted dog catcher. I’ll continue to hold that opinion until he comes clean with the U.S. public.

No amount of ‘birther’ or other name calling is going to make me back off and consider him politically ‘clean’.

If he was on the basketball team in Hawaii and went to the high school wouldn’t there be a year book or something that would give his name?

What leads you to believe it is “clearly a forgery”?

The line through a seven goes back centuries. Arabic numerals came in in the later Middle Ages. I have worked with German and Austrian manuscripts from the 1300s and 1400s. The way Arabic numerals were written in those centuries was quite different from the way things settled down. For instance, a four was half of an eight, that is, a loop resting on the baseline with two tails crossing in the middle and descending below—as if you put an 8 on the base line then cut it off about halfway through the lower loop. A five looks a lot like our handwritten fours—a vertical stroke to the right with a wavy, dipping horizontal at the top extending to the left, the way we make fours by an L plus a vertical through the mid-level foot of the L.

A one was often written as a single vertical, often descending below the baseline, perhaps with a slight flip to the left—like a j but taller and without the dot (which is how a single i was often written and the Arabic 1 was in effect, a modification of the Roman lowercase numeral one.

Sevens were very often written with a complete upstroke, from base to peak, then a complete downstroke, like a capital A without the cross-bar. This was no problem as long as one were written as single vertical lines. But when ones came to be written with a flourishing upstroke, if that upstroke got longer and longer, you’ve got confusion.

He was born in 1961, this is a certified copy of his Kenyan birth certificate that was requested in 1964 (presumably for the divorce of Obama’s parents).

Actually I believe in this case they relied on the word of Barack Hussein OmamaI for the information on the birth certificate. That is why he is referred to as “informant”.

Well, that was my take on it, haven’t heard it discussed.... though I may have missed it. It’s hard to get everything on threads as big as these.... Especially when over 90% of it is unfounded opinions and wild speculation. I think that 10% rule has been turned upside down. The three dates on the document are below, the last one appears to be at the equivalent of the courthouse/registrars office.

Birth - August 4, 1961 - Friday

Date of Registration - August 5, 1961 - Saturday

District Registry Office - August 9, 1961 - Wednesday

Do you deny that there are thousands of FReepers who won’t touch this issue with a ten-foot pole? And many others who have a very loose idea of what a NBC is?

This lavender soap thing looks to me pretty lame. Its like saying, if the signature on the bottom was A. B. Green, that the document was a fraud because Green is a ecological movement. I’ve done some searching for lavender soap... doesn’t appear to be any brand name, but lots of soaps have a lavender color (pale bluish purple), and advertise that fact. Anyways, Lavender seems like a great last name... as a kid, maybe the guy was nicknamed “soap”, lol.

Excellent Ruby!! You have just shown that even before the Independence Declaration in December 1963, Kenya was referring to itself as a REPUBLIC.

And it’s the London Times no less.

I think this settles the Republic of Kenya issue. At least in my opinion, which isn’t really worth much I guess. lol

One of my favorite jokes about him revolves around the fact that he grew into politics “the Chicago way.”

I’m paraphrasing here...but the gist of it is, are we supposed to believe that he’s the only virgin in the whorehouse?

That cracks me up.

As for this other...like I said and I think you and others agree...let’s wait and see how the authentication process pans out.

Either way though, it’s certainly not going to stop or even slow down my and other people’s efforts against nationalized health care, etc. And it certainly won’t stop us from digging to find out which rock he crawled out from under.

Correct, “hippie” in the early ‘60’s referred to people like the Rat Pack.

I find Stanley Ann’s conduct remarkably like the countercultural activity of the beats, who were, as you say, successors to the bohemians. I forget which writer first used “Beat Generation.” Ginsburg or Burroughs? Anyway, Ann would have fit right in to their millieu as a “pad-sharing chick.”

For a professional, skilled forger with resources, I don’t think there would be any particular difficulties, just attention to detail and nuance. A national intelligence service could do it.

The problem is, professional faking a document like this is a waste of time, because it is essentially a treasure map. If you follow the instructions to the end, (i.e. to book 44B, page 5733) and there’s no treasure there, the skill of the forgery is all for naught. And for all the resources of the Mossad, the CIA, or others, I see no way that they could go back in time and see to it that a specific page in a 47 year old bound book could be bound in invisibly. And what of the page that is supposed to be there? Where did it go? The index would no longer match, so it would have to be corrected too, and that is another monumental task that would have to be carried out right beneath the noses of the archivists.

Very difficult, bordering on the impossible. The system is designed the way it is to prevent just such a thing happening.

For an amateur, I don’t think they would stand the remotest chance of carrying it off, even the document itself.

An amateur would wind up with something as obviously fake as the Bush National Guard letters. This document is NOT obviously fake.
