A forger would get a copy of a Kenyan COLB for a birth in the same time frame and then copy/modify it.

Correct. Any self respecting forger would at least make sure the document container was authentic. Such an error would be like carefully engraving plates for a three dollar bill.

It would make sense that a hospital would use English instead of Swahili on their documents.

What also stands out to me is that it lists Obama’s Christian name as Barack Hussein (leaving out the Obama part which is considered Muslim)

Is this why Obama did not want the Hussein part of his name used?
