Try reading it. Try reading the 1963 version. The word 'republic' is not there. Your version is the 1999 amended version.
Doesn't mean they didn't use the word on forms printed in 1963 or 1964, though.

It should be possible to discover whether MH Miller and EF Lavender are (or were) real colonial officials in the Government of Kenya, 1961.

The key issue is what's on page 5733 of Book 44B. Can someone please check?
I think Ogabe handled that problem when he went over to 'campaign' for his cuz Raila Odinleberry. But we can always hope it still exists.

EXCELLENT!! I did’t know about Claire McCaskill doing this! They all knew and this proves it last year. Diane Feinstein’s effort was a year before in 2007! I think we can prove it didn’t enter the RAT’S minds before this time to pass such Legislation. We need to search the 2004 and 2000 Election Cycle Periods and even in 1992 with Billybob Clintoon, The Bent One!

You posted official White House stationary on which Obama said he was born at Kapi'olani Hospital.
The document Orly produced today says the hospital is Coast General Hospital.
UPI stated Obama was born at Queens Medical Center.
So now we have not one, not two, but THREE different hospitals where Barry was born.Isn't that true? Or am I missing something?

Fake or real, at least this document will put more pressure on Obama and Hawaii officials to release Obama's 1961 birth certificate, which I believe, to the sad surprise of many Obama supporters, will NOT have a doctor signature or a hospital name. Pressure like nobody's business. MOAB pressure. Nuclear pressure. The pressure of ten thousand suns pressing down upon your body, forcing every molecule to squeeze into its neighbor.

Same document. Looks like someone just used photoshop to remove the background. It does not always come out clean when you select the piece to remove from the background. In other words, the black background one is a cropped version of the first one, not so neatly done.

If you were E.F. Lavender, you’d likely either be tending your lavender in obscure and impoverished retirement somewhere in England, or you’d be fertilizing them.
Look, this document is not three centuries old. It can be authenticated in two or three days once the appropriate enquiries are made.
It’s just a matter of determining whether or not the book and page exists and what’s on it.
This document looks genuine to me, but obviously it could be a forgery. I am in no position to know one way or another. The document itself is not available for scrutiny, but it might be subpoenad by the court. In any case the authentication needs to go to Kenya to determine what is in the book of birth records.

I dont believe there was a Republic of Kenya which could appoint Principal Registrars in 1961Sorry for my mistake - no coffee yet. The document was issued BY the Republic of Kenya after its establishment in 1963, so that's not a problem, per se. This document is quite interesting, but given its importance, I would imagine that its provenance would have to be established by the Commonwealth Office in London and/or the Government of Kenya.

The second appears to be exactly the same photograph. The shadows are the same, the interior detail the same. It has been photoshopped to remove the fabric backfground and whoever did that decided to enhance the aging by adding the ‘tear’ in upper edge, ‘ragged edges’, etc.

Looking at the photo of the black background CCoRoB from Kenya, I am struck by the jaggies on the edges that some have interpreted to indicate perforations of a form torn from a binder/pad. I think, however that such perforations would be only on one edge, generally the left or top edge of the form. I think that what we are seeing here is a poor, hurried attempt by someone at removing the plaid background colors using Photoshop. The papers are obviously the same, with the fold variations being identical. The jagged “tear” on the top of the right hand fold may be a slip of the mouse when wiping out the background by someone who doesn’t know how to use PS.

Clearing the Smoke on Obamas Eligibility: An Intelligence Investigators June 10 Report
"The Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii
In the State of Hawaii, back in 1961, there were four different ways to get an original birth certificate on record.
BC1. If the birth was attended by a physician or mid wife, the attending medical professional was required to certify to the Department of Health the facts of the birth date, location, parents identities and other information. (See Section 57-8 & 9 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961).
BC2. In 1961, if a person was born in Hawaii but not attended by a physician or midwife, then all that was required was that one of the parents send in a birth certificate to be filed. The birth certificate could be filed by mail. There appears to have been no requirement for the parent to actually physically appear before the local registrar of the district.
It would have been very easy for a relative to forge an absent parents signature to a form and mail it in.
In addition, if a claim was made that neither parent of the newborn child whose birth is unattended as above provided is able to prepare a birth certificate, the local registrar shall secure the necessary information from any person having knowledge of the birth and prepare and file the certificate. (Section 57-8&9)
.... there is and was no requirement for a physician or midwife to witness, state or report that the baby was born in Hawaii.
BC3. In 1961, if a person was born in Hawaii but not attended by a physician or midwife, then, up to the first birthday of the child, a Delayed Certificate could be filed, which required that a summary statement of the evidence submitted in support of the acceptance for delayed filing or the alteration [of a file] shall be endorsed on the certificates, which evidence shall be kept in a special permanent file.
The statute provided that the probative value of a delayed or altered certificate shall be determined by the judicial or administrative body or official before whom the certificate is offered as evidence. (See Section 57- 9, 18, 19 & 20 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961).
BC4. If a child is born in Hawaii, for whom no physician or mid wife filed a certificate of live birth, and for whom no Delayed Certificate was filed before the first birthday, then a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth could be issued upon testimony of an adult (including the subject person [i.e. the birth child as an adult]) if the Office of the Lieutenant Governor was satisfied that a person was born in Hawaii, provided that the person had attained the age of one year.
(See Section 57-40 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961.)
In 1955 the secretary of the Territory was in charge of this procedure. In 1960 it was transferred to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor (the lieutenant governor, or his secretary, or such other person as he may designate or appoint from his office §338-41 [in 1961]).
In 1982, the vital records law was amended to create a fifth kind of original birth certificate. Under Act 182 H.B. NO. 3016-82, Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that the proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.
In this way state policies and procedures accommodate even children born out of State (this is the actual language of Act 182) with an original birth certificate on record.

I can only imagine the excuses... he was just a baby so he didn't get to choose where he was born, this is about his personal life it doesn't affect his work, it depends on what your definition of of birth is, well he was conceived in the United States, his mother could not get a flight back to the USA for birth, his mother feared discrimination and for her baby's life for having a black father, it wasn't Obama’s fault that his mother didn't come home, well he was elected by the people so that is all that matters, that happened a long time ago, this wasn't the birth story that I knew,it was my white mother and grandmother's fault for lying to me all those years, etc. etc. etc.

I think they're the same piece of paper. The folds are identical, even down to the very slightly upturned corner in the lower right.
I suppose it's possible that two pages were folded together, but even then I think the folds would differ.
It seems to me that the "cleaned up" newer image could have had the edges of the paper photoshopped, along with the perforations on the edges. Only the original document would give up the truth (just like another birth certificate I can think of).
why would someone photograph the paper at all, unless preparing for an internet campaign? So I wonder why there would be a much older photo out there.

By common usage, we have long referred to the US as being a republic. Yet the US Constitution does not refer to the US as being a republic. The closest is that it guarantees a “republican form of government” to the states.

True. Some is trying to play games with the first clean image as to stir up doubt. Ignore the second one with the ragged edges and tear.

All somebody has to do is to look at that book and page for documents recorded just before the date of the document and see how the country’s name is listed on other official documents. If there are others indicating “Republic”, then check the book and page referenced in the document as see what’s there.

I think the bottom one, with the black background, has been altered to remove the striped background table cloth (or whatever) and the "artist" who was attempting to do so was using the wrong Photoshop tool to do it, either deliberately, or inadvertently, or ignorantly. The "tear" appears to be a "tool" slip... sloppy work.
