I forgot about Batgirl! I was going to mention Catwoman, but I was always confused as to if she was good or bad. (Although as a 13 year old - always one of my favorites!).

My children have said Obama looked like the Joker since the first time they saw him. They also thought McCain looked like Palpatine (sp?) from Star Wars.

Catwoman is pretty much a grey character — neither completely good nor bad. She’s described as a thief with a heart of gold. Usually, she’s a vigilante-type. Sort of a darker version of Batman, willing to cross the line when she has to.
And don’t sell Palin short of filling out the Catwoman suit. :)
