Dumped AARP along with all my friends this week. And, we let the maggots know why... they support Obambicare!!

Also, friends and I told our kids to get off their liberal kistas and get out there in protest for their baby boomer parents.

I don't want the government in my checking account. I don't want a death of me conference every 5 years I don't want to pay for any UNION worker's health insurance etc.

There is a provision that states at minimum 5 years at age 60 “or more often as deemed reasonable if the situation warrants.”

But this is entirely voluntary just like Income Tax. -sarc

AARP needs to be abandoned by everyone except the no-good aging hippy crowd. Let *them* fund the organization.

Gosh, like if you're disabled, maybe? Those motorized wheelchairs are kinda pricey.

I’ve see the honcho from aarp on beck and (zero)0’pinhead shows both—when pressed he will stand on, “there ain’t no actual bill yet” and “I haven’t made a choice yet” ....but otherwise, from all that he says when questioned it is clear he will be for whatever hussein puts out there!!!!!

seniors and baby boomers need to get into self-preservation mode too.

Tell you liberal kids indoctrinated by the schools that it's time to get out there and fight for grandpa, grandma, mom and dad, other older relatives....

or

they will be cut out of your will

even liberal kids understand money....

Don't throw that AARP card out just yet!:

_______________________

The American Seniors Association (ASA) invites any American Association of Retired Persons member to mail us your torn AARP card and receive a 2 year- for- 1 year membership with ASA. Our organization representing hundreds of thousands of members believes we need health care reform, but we want what is best for seniors. ASA wants to cut wasteful spending in Medicare. ASA wants to see the Congress work to curb frivolous lawsuits that drive up the costs of doctor’s malpractice insurance. Our system needs an overhaul, but we do not need expensive Obamacare or anything resembling it. ASA is looking out for seniors by fighting a health care reform bill that will cost upward of $1.8 trillion over the next 10 years and cuts in Medicare of $500 billion. ASA wants seniors to live longer, more fulfilling years of life-- not an “end of life” continuum that this bill suggests. So please mail ASA your torn AARP card and/or visit our website www.americanseniors.org and ensure your voice is heard. American Seniors Association, 3700 Mansell Road,Suite 220, Alpharetta, GA 30022 AMERICAN SENIORS ASSOCIATION BLASTS OBAMA AARP HEATHCARE PUSH “President Obama must think the American people are idiots if he thinks the healthcare rationing, restrictions and regulations being debated in Congress will save money and result in better preventative medicine,” says Stuart Barton, president of the Atlanta-based AmericanSeniors.org that represents hundreds of thousands of members nationwide.

I believe Obammie was right.
"We have the AARP onboard because they know this is a good deal for our seniors." He added, "AARP would not be endorsing a bill if it was undermining Medicare."
Early on AARP was blindly towing the Socialist Party Line. But as the light of day dawned on this Death Panel for Seniors plan...

Even AARP has to say... "ENOUGH!!"

I'm not a member and didn't even know I was old enough to be one until I looked at their site but if they endorse Obama Care they can forget about me ever being one....

This is big. Once the major players start looking out for themselves that gives cover to the blue dogs. To tell the truth I didn't think this disaster could be stopped a month ago. Now it looks like either nothing will pass or what does pass will be very watered down. More importantly without the single payer option that the dems want the whole thing can be rolled back at some point in the future.

Man they are so backpeddling, they are catching guff from their members and plurality of Seniors doesn’t like the plan. Stupid for the socialists to get out in front of their members.

But it will be back. We have to put a stake in its heart.
