Where did these come from? I’m not sure that I accept them. I know Hitler said things LIKE these, probably many times, some were probably part of his standard stump speeches in the Weimar days, or from My Struggle, but it’s hard to know that from the uncited list.
I got them mainly from the library with books of quotations and a book on hitler as well as various history/quote sites. I have compiled from several sources.
These may or may not be genuine. Who knows? There are no references.
Beware: it is a common ploy for people to make up quotes. Some fake quotes are better known that the real ones.
Most of these do not really sound like Hitler. Even the quotation about the efficacy of lying is taken out of context, because Hitler never recommended that his own propaganda contain lies. Instead, he attributed the “big lie” technique to his enemies, and specifically to the Jews.
Why do we have to refer to Hitler, anyway, when Obama makes enough misrepresentations, false promises, gaffes, &c., on his own? Make 0 face up to his own failings, for after all, he is our problem and a big one.
