(IsraelNN.com) The Middle East peace plan that United States President Barack Obama will unveil soon involves the creation of a Palestinian Authority state by 2011 and the transfer of Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem [presumably including the Temple Mount – ed.] to Arab-Muslim sovereignty, Saudi newspaper Al-Ukaz has learned.

According to the report published Sunday in Al-Ukaz, the Obama plan also includes the following elements:

Some parts of eastern Jerusalem [presumably Neveh Yaakov, Pisgat Ze'ev and the like - ed.] would be transferred to Israeli control.

That's true, but apparently, for Obama, his own country isn't enough to wreck. He'd rather wreck Israel and other traditional American allies as well. He won't get away with his plans for Israel, however, as long as the Netanyahu government is in power and maintains its current level of support.

Curious, what do you mean “don’t believe this”? ---------------------- I don't believe Obama would actually be so naive to roll this plan out. I don't believe Israel would ever go for it. There can be no peace when one party refuses to recognize the other. Neither Hamas or the PA officially recognize Israel. It's in both of their charters. They have proven time and time again that they don't want peace with Israel but want Israel to disappear. Every time Israel has made concessions the arabs become more violent as they see a weakness. For Obama to push a plan like this and to expect anything to happen by 2011 is foolish. He can twist all the arms he wants to but Israel is not going to commit suicide for Obama or anyone else. I can't believe Obama could actually expect Israel to buy into something like this.
