There’s an interesting underlying premise to this report if you read it closely: it’s as though he’s saying that “One good snub deserves another”, or at least implies that the British decided to be as free-wheeling and “inconsiderate” of our feelings about this Lockerbie Libyan as Obama was about the Churchill bust and meeting the Queen and Gordo Brown. It’s quite possible. Who is to say, in the “nuanced” world of diplomacy that a strong bond with the UK from the beginning of this Administration might not have resulted in them NOT releasing this Mad Bomber? Instead we get a totally different dynamic, where they do things presumably “to piss us off”, because “we” did things “to piss them off”. Obama and his minions think of this as “Progress”. It’s not.

Obama’s deep anti British feelings were learned at the knee of his Kenyan grandfather. He was a nationalistic Mau-Mau, a group bent on driving White Englishmen out of “their” country by slaughter and terror. In retaliation the British Army rounded up the men of Obama senior’s village and tortured them.

1. There is little evidence BO had much, if any, contact with this grandfather. In fact, Obama's first visit to Kenya was in 1988, nine years after gramps kicked the bucket.

2. The Mau Mau were Kikuyu supremacists. Few if any Luo were involved with them.

3. Grandpa did get in trouble with colonial authorities and was probably tortured, but it was several years before the Mau Mau movement got going.

I would say that the British were an embarassment to themselves on this one.

As your President begins his Ramadan vacation, I wonder if his thoughts are very far from his Jimmy Carter like performance.

It’s a very long time since that uninspiring inauguration speech back in January, but the lack of any clear direction or theme in that speech may have been the first indication that the Obama’s presidency was going to be more Carter like, than Reaganesque.

The man is clearly in over his head and the one knock that stood out more than any other during his presidential run was his lack of experience. A criticism ignored by the mainstream media, but his performance so far has proven that critique to be more than conjecture.

The guy clearly has no common sense knowledge of the role he is supposed to be playing. If you were to close your eyes and just listen to the chattering, you’d almost think that the campaign was still going on.

He’s a great campaigner and a p*ss pot poor president who’s apparently tone deaf.

Dateline Jan 20, 2013. Obama successor's Inaugural speech.

" Our long national nightmare is over. Let me begin by sincerely apologizing to most of the world for the last 4 years. I am truly sorry that you had to see us at our lowest point since the Civil War. Over the next several months I will be sending teams of diplomats to the countries that were offended the most to begin to repair the damages done. I will also be increasing the size of the justice department to begin the prosecutions, trials, and sentencing of the previous administration for flagrant abuses and criminal actions. Now that the Presidency, Senate and House are back to a Republican majority, I promise you we will not screw it up this time. Now let's join together to begin the steep climb from our depths and start undoing the last 4 years of legislative damage. Let's get crackin'."

Silvio Berlusconi was quoted in July to the effect that Obama had done everything right up till then. Of course Berlusconi’s country entered World War II on the opposite side to the British (and stayed there until invaded by the Allies).
