No there are a few good ones I’m sure, I do think however, that we need to get back to the “citizen” congressman concept, this is a very frustrating thing, now we have these family dynasties, that must stop but it depends on the weak-minded voters so what I say is immaterial.
A good ‘un (congressman) comes to mind: Lamar Smith, very stable, consistent and also very rare but heck there are others, move over congressman! I’m thinking of my state primarily, don’t know about others. There needs to be a major housecleaning, look at what it’s got us! By a major across the board housecleaning, I think that would send quite a message, but realistically, it’s not going to happen so don’t fret about the “baby with the bathwater”, we’re just dreaming anyway, we haven’t hit bottom yet but we will.
The country is soundly Socialist right now. I don’t know how we are going to wean these people from government largess and the nanny state. Our stuff is paid for, 10 year old vehicles (no, I’m not about to buy a new car, screw that with today’s economy), we live within our means, always have, do without for pete’s sake instead of going into debt.
We are in this for the long struggle, I’m in my late 60s, this fight has only just begun for middle America, they just woke up, well, SOME just woke up but it’s a start. Don’t be afraid, CLEAN HOUSE!

I hope you’re right, that he’ll be trounced. But we do have a new Senator, former funny man (if you like sad, weird humor) Franken of (of all places) MN. These guys love the adulation and will relocate to wherever there is a need to keep a Dem in office (or get one in) and it’s easy to be an empty suit for the ‘party’, because they’re there for the party, not the politics, so who cares that they have no experience. And our American Idol type voters will text for the popular celebrity candidate. Done and done.
