It’s spreading the same lies as the AP story did. I would suggest writing to them but I get the feeling it would be like screaming at a wall. Also, Glenn was awesome on Fox and Friends this morning!

Yeah, I just never figured I would see that kind of trash on that particular site. They tend to stay away from political opinion shows. I was disappointed.
A lady at McCain’s townhall told him that the senate MUST do something about all the czars.
I also wrote of my disappointment to Walmart. Here was their reply:

In keeping with our internal guidelines to avoid content that is highly polarizing, we've instructed our agencies, as of August 3rd, not to run Walmart advertising in news commentary shows on national cable networks. This would include the Glenn Beck Show.

This would actually seem more positive than not. If taken at their word, then anything on CNN or MSNBC was pulled as well, which given the other's smaller audience pull probably impacts them much harder.

The AP and other media outlets are using Color of Change's founder James Rucker as a source for their hit pieces. They are promoting the myths about the boycott and they are trying to paint Glenn as an extremist.

At times I want to put my hands over my ears and run screaming from the stuff Beck reveals.
I suppose I kind of think it can’t happen here, that surely the likes of, say a John McCain, the pub presidential candidate for God’s sake, or other pubs or SOMEBODY will not sit and allow the president to just, boom, appoint a cadres of Marxists, no they wouldn’t, would they?
Would they?
Then I ponder that it something’s going to be done about it then I guess by golly WE’RE going to have to do it. For while I complain about the so-called opposition party being in the tanning booth, well I jest.
Don’t I?
But no I don’t. I haven’t seen Boehner hold a press conference complaining about these czars. I rarely see a pub out and about talking about health care. They really and truly like their power and the sad face is...WE HAVE NO OPPOSITION PARTY. Good lord even Pakistan has an opposition party!
So we’ve had tea parties, and town halls and upcoming the march on Washington.
Because evidently the political elite are too busy tanning, fixing head hairs, attending DC cocktail parties and always, ever and always, reaching across that beloved aisle.
It will take a Glen Beck, a Rush Limbaugh...who is in some way getting involved with this Beck thing tomorrow as I understand, it will take the group of them and all of US to do the deed.
And still, even though it’s the stuff of my tongue-in-cheek, I am surprised.
They really are cowards.

Ya know I am getting really worried about Glenn. I hope he has a security team to protect himself and his family.

I just said to my wife “I think Glenn is committing suicide by government this week”
I agree COMRADE, but he’s been in the business over 30 years and he was off last week, I’m sure he was taking care of business especially after some of the advertisers pulled their ads, he’s digging deep, it’s getting scary, we need to stand up and be heard, Glenn can’t do it alone, perhaps we need a writing campaign or a phone campaign to start prodding the republicans who appear to be brain dead......we need to tell our friends and family what’s going on, have them spread the word........

I’ll just throw this new intriguing factoid out there...
Some Iranian guy involved with the Clintons, Kerry and of course Obamer, got arrested today for trying to bilk Citibank out of some 75 million.
It’s complicated but somehow Citigroup...part of that gubmint bailout...and AIG are involved in this. This Iranian guy, all by himself, by the way a HUGE contributor to Democratic candidates including Harry Reid and Pelosi, all by his little self, managed to fool Citigroup and AIG?
Well somebody had to take the fall for it.
I see it as a gubmint that is so corrupt and intertangled with some big banks, car companies et al and frankly I think Bernie Maddow is somehow in that mix but that could be me wearing tinfoil.
I think the Dems HAD to win to “fix” everything and don’t forget that weird form of reparations involving Fannie Mac and mortgages....
And I don’t think for one moment the pubs didn’t know a thing about it.
All the while we’re busy carrying this country on our backs but we’re awake now and we’re paying attention.
