This how is a riot!

Blues Duke is a hoot!

BluesDuke is flattered and honoured! ;)
Great stream of conciseness radio
Well, I try to be concise when I write each week's script. ;)

Here's my show from this past Monday night, since you enjoyed the other shows so much . . .

The Kallmanac: Let's Go to Press; A Job Ad (24 August 2009)---In which I have a little mad fun with two slightly whacky-sounding news items and one friend's inspiration to golf . . . zap a particularly, raunchily fun craigslist job ad (for a comedy writer). The old-time radio selection for the evening: a classic installment of The CBS Radio Workshop, "The Billion-Dollar Failure of Figger Fallup," in which you'll get to imagine what it might be like to have a billion-dollar advertising-and-survey client named Lucifer who'd like you to poll to see what the expected influx to Hell will be for the next couple of decades, only to find out the devil's very much in the details if you try gauging such things by the polls . . .

And, just because I had so much fun writing it (my board op/announcer played the actual role, and magnificently), here's my hopefully classic cheerful zap at Rachael Ray . . .

The Kallmanac: Rachael Laser's Fifteen-Minute Meals (3 August 2009).

Seriously Duke, you should peddle this stuff. I can get you international airplay ON WBCQ for $60 an hour This is just the sort of programming they are looking for.

Sure.. its shortwave in a digital world.. but your program would hit europe and south america.

Keep up the hard work

I hope you get rain soon. It’s frustrating to see everything wilt without it. Stay cool in AC. We are going to have fall temps next week already! It’s going to be beautiful! :)

I'm picturing this in my head. ;) Sounds very busy and too hectic, Taz. I hope, soon, you can get a good long day of rest.

((HUGS))Good morning GodBlessUSA.

Well, that's a good deal. The weather here is nice and sunny.

We lucked out here in Comanche with the storms this week. Apparently some parts of Duncan and Marlow had their power knocked out from the storms Late Wednesday and early Thursday.

< a href="http://www.duncanbanner.com/local/local_story_240002409.html">Here is some information from Duncan Banner about this week's storms.
