WFAA (ABC affiliate) reported huge crowd, DPD said 2000 people, many scenes from Ch8 helicopter. That's great! We drove by about 11:30 and there were a lot of people there. There were also a lot of people walking towards the event.

Oh man... Please Please, don't let your son drive sleepy - pull over and take a short nap - it may save your life!
This really scares me, because I once went to sleep at the wheel, and woke up with the rear-end of a tractor-trailer rig about 20 feet in front of me, coming fast... I barely had time to whip the wheel to the left and get around it! Didn't even have time to look left to see if a car was there. Thank God there was none. Ever since that, I'm very careful to not drive if I'm the least bit sleepy!

That was the last time I ever drove while high on Code Red.

Woo hoo! Weve arrived at our hotel in Memphis! Signing off. You weren't kidding about the Red Eye Express, were you? Hope you all get some rest.

It is always hard to estimate the attendance at these events. I was there for about an hour and can say there was a lot of “flow-through” (people stopping by on their lunch hour and then going back to work).
If I had to guess, I would say at least 3500-4000 attended at some point. The Cape Buffalo food line was so jammed, I did not have time for lunch. Many other people wanted to eat, but the line was too long. For future reference, a hot dog stand could have fed hundreds of people and raised a lot of money!
