Could George W. Bush end up behind bars?

(CNN) -- Could George W. Bush or some of his top aides end up behind bars?

It's extremely unlikely, but the Obama administration is taking its first steps along a path that could lead in that direction, with the investigation of Central Intelligence Agency interrogators involved in the war on terror.

"You don't know where these things are going to end up," former CIA agent Peter Brookes told me. "They could go to very high levels in the government."

The probe will focus on whether interrogators exceeded their instructions and broke the law when, for example, they choked a prisoner until he lost consciousness or threatened another one with a gun and a power drill.

"If there are legit historians in the future, that statement of his will be remembered."

Legitimate historians will find that there were anti-capitalists working behind the scenes in the financial world to harm this nation intentionally. Much like yourself, as best I can tell.

President Bush will go to prison over my dead body, and I know I'm only one in several million who would defend him in a hearbeat.

“I’m an across the board conservative.”

You probably believe you are. John McCain probably thinks he is too.

“I am dumbfounded that you believe he was against amnesty for illegals. Simply dumbfounded....”

They seem to choose not to see that domestically, Bush was on Teddy Kennedy’s side more often than not. Or they just don’t care.

This all boils down to illustrating how much of a flaming liar Obama is. He’s better than Joe Stalin at keeping a straight face while doing it too.

Was he pro-life? Hard to tell. He said he was. His wife wasn’t.

You have shown your ignorance with this clip. If you cannot tell President Bush was the most pro-life President we have ever had, you are not worth the time I'm wasting right now. He did every thing within his "executive" power to protect the sanctity of life. The rest was up to CONgre$$.
Take a peek at what executive orders the current usurper issued his first days in office.
Laura wasn't the President. I keep hearing she wasn't, but have never seen facts to back it up, so I'll ignore it.

Pro-military? Worn-out equipment from overuse and no money to replace it and back-to-back deployments because he wouldn’t fight the war, but became Wilsonian on DEMOCRACY! Maybe, maybe not.

Again with the ignorance on parade. Do you know any of our military members? Have you ever spoke to any of them? Do you know what shape our military was in when President Bush entered the White House? Do you remember what happened 7.5 months after he took office?
In the words of another great man;
"You go to war with the army you have, not the army you wish you had."

Moral? He violated his oath of office.

Really?
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

HOW did he violate his oath of office?

Man of integrity? Maybe. Maybe not. I only have his policies with which to judge him.

You are not worthy to judge him.

Not sure he was honest with us when he ran on SS reform and then decided to spend his political capital on amnesty.

I see you were absent again. President George W. Bush DID NOT GRANT AMNESTY!
He worked hard and spent a lot of time on reforming socialist security. You may recall the "60 cities in 60 days" campaign to garner support. Soros, AARP, the demonRATS and many of the so-called republicans spent vast sums of money to fight him on this matter.
Here is a cute little pic of the demonRATS in 2005 as a refresher for that feeble mind --

RATS w/ FDR statue

With you, I believe Matthew 7:15 is more appropriate.

I’m not in the “financial world”. I have an honest job. Bush had to save the economy by helping nationalize it, right? Uh huh.

“President Bush will go to prison over my dead body, and I know I’m only one in several million who would defend him in a hearbeat.”

He’s not going to prison. This is a distraction so they can pass the health takeover and nationalize the rest of the economy.

See you in DC on the 12th, FC?

(Do you even know it's happening, or are you too busy hating George W. Bush to know what's happening in this country?)

My (provable) conservative record....

Steering committee for Ken Blackwell and donor (look him up, newbie)
Campaign for Jim Jordan, conservative Congressman (look his record up, newbie)
Pro-life activist and contributor
Tea party activist and participant (on the stage, newbie)
Opposed socialized medicine before you were born
Opposed UN before you were born
Life long conservative.
Letter writing activist, bombarding newspapers and Congressmen with conservative principles.
Patriot and mother of a bronze star winner.

Your "conservatism" consists of bashing an honorable man. You lose.

Good bye.

I work for the .mil, so I probably know a bit more than you do on the subject. Money that should have been used to refurbish worn equipment (base housing could use some money) and continue procurement instead went to nation-building overseas and other giveaways to foreigners. Like his making-up-to-Bono “charity” to Africa.

“HOW did he violate his oath of office? “

He signed CFR. He refused to defend our borders.

Either he violated his oath, or these things were beyond his ability to even try. EVERY new domestic program he pushed through or agreed to was unconstitutional! IT ALL IS! We have gone from the Contract With America vowing to rid of of the Department of Education to a “Republican” doubling it!

“I see you were absent again. President George W. Bush DID NOT GRANT AMNESTY! “

Did you sleep through that two year process where he tried to push it through? Did you not hear his press secretary say they now had a Congress they could work with on “reform” in 2006? Apparently, you did.

“You are not worthy to judge him.”

By his secular actions? Sure I am. I am an American Citizen. For at least a little bit longer, I am a free man and will continue to judge politicians by their ACTIONS, their agendas, and their deeds. I judge him to be a liberal.

“See you in DC on the 12th, FC? “

Sorry, I’m busy that weekend.

Your resume is amusing, but it doesn’t make you politically a conservative. It means, perhaps, you have a lot of free time that us working stiffs lack. Either that, or you can’t detach yourself from your adoration for a liberal Republican for a moment to see who, exactly, you are defending.

I’ve certainly seen no “conservatism” on display from you in this thread.

“Your “conservatism” consists of bashing an honorable man. You lose.”

If I’m “bashing”, I’m bashing liberals. Only liberals.

If you observed President Bush one single day, you would have seen the fruit of his redemption in Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.

Jimmy Carter was a born-again Christian too. Was he also incapable of doing any wrong in your eyes because of it? What is it with people today?

GWB worship -- if you criticize Bush you are a Bush-Hater and unAmerican.

Obama worship -- if you criticize Obama you are an Obama-Hater, a racist, and unAmerican....

Why can't all you Nancy Pelosi wannabes allow someone to be critical of a president, any president, without calling us "haters"?

I was not especially clear, let's focus on this part:

"to harm this nation intentionally. Much like yourself, as best I can tell.”

And the threat to his freedom is certainly a distraction, I agree, the trouble is some of us are having trouble remembering that President Obama is behaving like the enemy frequently.

President Bush never did.

So, which side are you on?

Or will you continue to employ the Alinsky method and pretend that President Bush was our enemy?

You can choose one or the other and still think President Bush was imperfect, a common trait in every person I've ever met.

Because CONSERVATIVE dissent (echoing your tagline) isn’t patriotic in their eyes, I guess. It’s all about the Party.

He also said we had to give up capitalism in order to save it.

What President Bush said was:
“I abandoned free market principles to save the free market system."

Slowly but surely the pieces of the puzzle are coming out.
I'm sure it will mean nothing to either of you, but for the edification of others, here are some facts.

“And the threat to his freedom is certainly a distraction, I agree, the trouble is some of us are having trouble remembering that President Obama is behaving like the enemy frequently.”

Of course he is. How does that excuse the liberal actions of previous Administrations? If the GOP is to be the vehicle to restore the Republic, first it has to be honest about the liberal trajectory it has been on and ALTER IT. That can’t happen if criticism of liberal Republicans is met with “HATER!” and “BASHER!”.

“President Bush never did. “

Bush supported liberal policies. So, yes, he did.

“Or will you continue to employ the Alinsky method and pretend that President Bush was our enemy?”

Liberals are the enemy, freedom_is_earned. They may not be YOUR enemy, but they are the enemy of every conservative. The enemy in front - Obama and every Democrat Senator plus most Democrat - or the enemy at our back - McCain, Snowe, Mark Kirk and the like (Bush is out of office, but we need to make sure his brand of “compassionate conservatism” never returns) - enemies all the same.

This isn’t a “Republican Good/Democrat Bad” issue. It’s “Conservative Good/Liberal Bad” issue.

LOL! You're a desperate little newbie, aren't you? But amusingly and consistenly ignorant.

Oh yeah......two more things to add to my list (I notice you can't name anything you've done for conservatism)......

The only reason I made any calls for John McCain was that he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate
My husband has met with our Congressman to discuss the conservative opposition to Obamacare.

SHAME on you for "being busy" instead of standing up for your country against Marxism. No surprise, but shameful, nonetheless.
