The GOP will no doubt continue to “monitor” him.

Joe Wilson has the class to apologize and the stones to stand strong. That is so unlike most of the Republicans who immediately go into grovel mode at the slightest controversy.

Yes, indeed. The only thing more disgusting than the media attacks on Joe Wilson were the RINO attacks in mass on Mr. Wilson, led by the GOP nominee for President, McInsane.

I want to monitor him as our primary challenger for Graham’s seat in five years.
To: mlizzy
Weak. It seems he was muzzled to me. He should never have apologized. I guess if he feels that apologizing does not mean backing down and being muzzled than that is his opinion.
To: MBB1984
He told the truth.
He should have given one of those “I’m sorry if my attempt to correct the record offended anyone” non apology apologies.

Joe Wilson is a true patriot in the sense of Patrick Henry!

I wrote a letter to Congressman Wilson yesterday thanking him for speaking out for us. I included a check for $25 to go towards his 2010 re-election campaign. I also sent a copy of the letter, minus the contribution, to my ‘Rat Congresscritter, Lincoln Davis. Davis is one of the so-called “blue dogs”. I hope he gets the message.....

I’ve been trying to get on his website to send him a donation but can’t get on because of heavy traffic. Anyone out there have a regional office number for Joe??

Joe Wilson's passion cannot be denied. Much like Sarah Palin, we need these people working in places where they are seen "and heard."
I donated to Joe Wilson and I can ill afford to do so, but on the other hand, it seems we cannot afford to
not contribute. I'm reading as much about this man as I can. My prayers are with him as they are with Sarah Palin (and all others fighting the cause). And you are right -- we must indeed never retreat, never back down.

That’s right. I was thrilled when I heard Wilson’s challenge and desolated when he apologized. I’m sick of a President of the United States scolding and bullying the opposition. His speech to the joint session was more vicious that ever, and that’s saying something. If Obama calls me through my elected representatives a liar, I say, the liar is YOU! Eff this little twirp.
