"
The rally was embraced, after some hesitation, by congressional Republicans, some of whom were leery of associating with the more incendiary elements of Obama's opposition." We definitely need to fight the RINOs in the primaries.

I've been gauging what I saw with my feeling/sense of the UTAustin Memorial Stadium--about 100K. This was several Memorial Stadiums' full--I'd put it between 500K and a million.
It's a shame we didn't think ahead to get somebody to take a photo from the top of the Washington Monument.

Wow. That kind of turnout sends a very clear message and it is a wonderful sign that we just might be able to turn this sinking ship around.
YEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAA
Bite me, Obama.

“Reporting from Washington - Tens of thousands of protesters marched on the U.S. Capitol today, airing a wide range of grievances rooted in a shared sentiment: seething anger at President Obama and his far-reaching agenda.”
So this is what they call “reporting” these days.

“What ‘incendiary’ element? Who are they talking about?”
Duh, conservatives with the power of pyrokinesis. Don’t stare into their eyes!

The problem in a nutshell.
The Gutless Party had better learn to stand up for small business folk, taxpayers, drivers, users of electricity, property owners, gun owners, etc., rather than the Lehman Brothers elites and the political pimps who work for them. Else, it is time for a new political movement that will champion common people and their interests.

Good ole LA Times.... “angry” protesters and a picture of a group with fists up .. who knows what for? I was there today and did not see an angry mob, in the way this article and picture try to depict.
Sure, we’re angry at what we see happening to our country (with the help of the LA Times and others in the MSM). Disgusted might be a better word.
Th marchers were a happy lot, smiling and just talking to each other (total strangers) when walking down the street. There was no pushing, shoving or obscene gestures. There was virtually no litter, except at trash cans. Exemplary behavior for a crowd of its size. I was really proud of them and felt blessed to be able to attend.

“No RINOs allowed” signs should have been posted at all the rallies.
They know who they are.

I don’t think that article is correct, though I would love for it to be! However, the turnout was most impressive!
Contrast these good folks who got there themselves, on their own dime, with their own transportation to the usual protests we’ve seen with people who were bussed in by others. It’s mind boggling to me!
I am so proud of each and every one of those folks who, in many cases, traveled a long way to be there! Not to mention the thousands upon thousands of others who went to TEA Parties in their states. We went to the TEA Party in Salem, OR. There were 3,500 in attendance. Compared to Texas that’s not a lot of people, but for Oregon...it’s huge! And, it wasn’t the only TEA Party here!
One thing I know for sure is that I’m off right now to buy a TRT T-shirt for future use!
One more thing about the reporting in that article...I love it! The left is always inflating their numbers. So...what’s good propaganda for the goose, is good propaganda for the gander.
Saul Alinsky would be proud...and rolling over in his grave. ;o)

That’s far more than 200k-300k. Surely there’s people who can study the pictures and give a good estimate.
