No mention of the march in Chris Wallace’s Fox News Sunday intro today. Fox and friends Sunday reported “tens of thousands” attended the rally in a headline.

Last night, the CNN “coverage” consisted of debates between inarticulate GOP talking heads and left wing-nuts wringing their hands about the “inflammatory” nature of the signs. These were lead-ins to a touted 10 PM special that was to focus on inflammatory rhetoric, not the rally. The suggestion was that Joe Wilson (and of course Rush Limbaugh) have given license to a bunch of racists to voice their previously silent racist views.

I got home from the rally around 3 and was very disappointed by Fox’s lack of coverage. Missing person and food as fuel were the headline stories of just about every segment I saw. I switched to CSPAN.

CSPAN broadcast live until 4 PM, will rebroadcast at 8 PM Monday night. No commentary, no editing in what I saw.

GOOD NEWS: Joe Wilson says he will not apologize publicly on the floor

I was extremely disappointed in FNC coverage especially their unwillingness to report accurate crowd estimates. WTH is up with that? My theory, they are intimidated and trying to avoid being labeled “conservative.” Someone at FNC made the wrong call on this.
