I was near the front of the parade, because the bus driver knew he could not get anywhere near the start off point.

Our group did not walk the entire route, starting off around 11:15 even at that by the time we got to the Capitol, the front section was full and so was the right side of the capitol lawn. We found ourselves on the left side of the lawn in the grove of trees. There was no chance of getting any closer.

This photo was near the official beginning of the parade, Dick Armey was in this block of marchers.
