I have no use for any of the hippy protesters at the demonstration. They are all miscreants and anarchists and not worth spit.
The police, on the other hand are no better. There are far too many new toys for them to play with that are really dangerous and misused. First it was tazers. How many people die each year from tazers? Now it’s eardrum breaking sound levels.
As a person who lost his hearing in combat and only regained it 17 years later (in an accident), loss of hearing is not something that police should inflict on American citizens intentionally.

I saw the episode where the pirates on the SI were “attacked†by the Japanese LRAD. I thought the LRAD was a joke. More of an annoyance than a weapon.
