Flying Reptiles: A Lesson in Specialized Function

The great flying dragons of the sky, the pterosaurs, fascinate kids of all ages. With unique body adaptations such as an elongated fourth finger connected to wing membranes, this airborne hunter/scavenger was totally different from birds and other reptiles. An agile flyer with a "specialized brain and inner ear structure,"[1] its fossil remains suddenly appear in the sediments, fully formed and with no evident ancestors....

Noah had a hell of a time with that one. Ate a couple of his grandkids.

Ate a couple of his grandkids

The Raptors ate the helpless caged pterosaur pair.

There was unrest upon the ark and punishment for the wicked.

Here’s a modern flying reptile:

Q: “What is it that makes flying privately so appealing to you?

A: Once you have sipped the sweet nectar of freedom, you don’t go back. And it helps me shed my skin.”

"... its fossil remains suddenly appear in the sediments, fully formed and with no evident ancestors...."

As does every other fossil in existance. But that's ok, evolutionists have excellent imaginations.

Strange comment coming from a democrat! All they ever think about is taking away freedoms.

Geology shows that fossils are of different ages.
Paleontology shows a fossil sequence, the list of species representing changes through time.
Taxonomy shows biological relationships among species.
Evolution is the explanation that threads it all together.
Creationism is the practice of squeeezing one's eyes shut and wailing "DOES NOT!"

Geology shows fossils that all were made within days of each other. Powerful evidence of the flood of hot carbonate laden water that shotu from below Earth’s crust, reshaping the earth, and creating the comets.

Paleontology shows what great imaginations the God haters have.

Taxonomy shows that God utilized a basic life plan for a large numberof different creatures, as would be expected of such an intelligent designer.

Evolution is where the God haters go to hide from reality.

Creation is seeing the greatness of God’s creation, and appreciating it.

How did the fish survive all that?

Forget about established theory's and thoughts. Be glad you can see what you see and you can understand that nobody has all the answers. This world is a wonderful place. If you lose the wonder you'll lose a most important part of being human.

Off to enjoy my cat ambushing my stroll on a chilly wind swept September eve in the garden.
