Was the girl’s mother present at the photo shoot? If not, why not? If so, where was she and what was she doing when her child was being violated?
I believe the mother gave permission for the photo session.. I am sure she didn’t think it would lead to this but c’mon. You NEVER leave a child in that situation for the love of Pete. That is what I did not get in the Jesse Dirkhising case.
Even stranger, I believe Samantha Geimer showed up at the premiere of the film about Polanski that came out recently.

All these years, I had only heard that he had sex with an underage girl. That was bad enough, but these details are nauseating and make me wish Polanksi were placed in a general prison population.
Perhaps the other actresses are willing to do whatever it takes to get the part. Thats fine if they are adults, still sleazy, but legal.
All I am saying is that anyone who performs a heinous act such as this should not go unpunished. The girl was a minor. And quite frankly, I don't understand why you asked me that question in the first place.

Somehow, cash settlements have never, ahem, “settled” well with me.
Will a bag of cash comfort the teenage girl when she has terror in the night? Can she hug it, call out to it, use it to defend herself from her fears, both real and imagined?
Will any of that money still be around when she marries, and her relationship with her husband is stressed by her hatred of men?
I don’t care if he settled with the girl for $2 million. None of it mitigates the fact that he pursued that child for the purposes of rape.
I hope this prosecution leads to bringing more Hollywood filth to justice.

Polanski is merely a highly-visible test case for "getting it right" or of creating one more "exception because of Liberal whining".
With a totally fabricated illegal alien fraud squatting in our White House, and all three branches of the current regime supporting his fraud, we, the people, should not be complicit in further weakening our foundation.
If Polanski was a priest, the left would want to hang him. You wouldn’t hear how it had been 30 years since the rape or how it wasn’t “really” rape.
Polanski committed a rape on a non-consenting 13 year old girl. He plied her with alcohol and pills and forced himself upon her against her will. She was too drunk and too young and scared to fight him off physically. But she never consented and repeatedly told him to stop, and she cried a river when it was over.
That’s RAPE, a particularly heinous rape against a child. Since the girl only met him once before the rape, it’s practically stranger rape, and certainly in no way qualifies as mere statutory rape, as some in Hollywood are now claiming.
