Carter was — and still is — a bumbling fool but was former military himself and perhaps for that reason got a pass on much of the stupid stuff he did.
Obama is NOT former military (doubt he was even in the Boy Scouts — Young Pioneers maybe) and has dissed and ridiculed the military on a number of occasions. And he has a DEFINITE AGENDA that was harder to see with Carter.
This guy is all about destroying America which is one of the points Perry, a fellow DEMOCRAT, makes in the essay.
Noted, but entirely meaningless. Obama was duly elected by those electors chosen to cast ballots. Their vote was certified and he was administered the oath of office by the Chief Justice of the United States.
You and I might not like it, but those are the facts and even if the birthers are correct, he cannot be removed but by impeachment or expiration of term. Impeachment seems highly unlikely given the current composition of Congress. As for expiration of term of office, we’ll have to see what happens in 2012. The military is not going to help your pipe dream come true. We get the government we deserve, even when it is the dog’s breakfast that we have to live with now.
