You’ve got something there...Think of this..all the ‘King’ needs is a Constitutional Convention and that 22nd Amendment will be gone,along with the 2nd Amendment...All he needs is another crisis—such as a certain Middle Eastern country getting nuked and war breaks out between countries. Guaranteed the ‘King’ will declare martial law, suspend the Constitution, then amend it via Congressional approval (unconstitutional) using the War Powers Act or some other ruse and we have our dictator for life hoisting the red flag over the Castle...

I can hardly believe we speak of Obama as a president. He’s not worthy, hasn’t earned the title, and will NEVER be the CIC of our military. Oh, he has it on paper, but our military knows what needs to be done. Our Military knows they take their orders from their superiors. And Bambi isn’t on their list. Thank God, and praise our Military. God Bless my Son In Law, Sarge, 3 tours in Iraq, going to Afghanistan, My daughter, Specialist, one tour in Iraq. And to all the other military families, we pray for you, God Bless!

Our founding fathers realized we needed the 2nd amendment against oppressive government. The 2nd will never be gone, no judge or court will lend credence to it, and is the meat of the constitution. Perhaps the 2nd should have been the first; without the second, the first is in jeopardy. Why do you think ammo sales and gun sales have been a boon this past year? The libs are kidding themselves if they think they will ‘rule’ the Americans. Sorry, we won’t let it happen, revolution, freedom,liberty is stronger than any government ‘freebie’ program. This is the democrats last stand, for now. Freedom will prevail now.

I totally agree, I can never speak of him as president, but can easily speak of him as an enemy of the State. Silly story.....
My kid, during basic training had to clean the drill sargeant’s ‘room’. There was a wall of presidental photos, it went from Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Bush. Yes, you figured it out. And I’m sure 44 will be missing in many rooms. Our military has their special way of protesting.
Hell, at this point I even miss Clinton.

Thank you, it was special for me to post that series of threads about my daughter. She’s good, married to a sarge, and just had their 2nd child. He’s deploying to Afghanistan soon. We are so proud of our kids. I should repost those stories from Iraq sometime. I’m not boasting, but, she took some awesome photos from Iraq. Thanks again, they were popular threads.

Bush renegged on his promise to not get into nation building, his promise to fix social security, and a promise to control spending. He invited millions of illegals to America by neglecting enforcement. I recall he put border guards in jail.
It amazes me just how many on FR are pining for the one that gave us to our present leader.
